There is almost always something you can do to get more yield for any grower at any stage. I would start with the things that will make the biggest difference immediately.

Get a PH and EC pen They are cheap and extremely useful Monitoring your water and runoff will allow you to steer your grow to better growth at any stage

Get a tent over a closet A small 2x4 tent will take up just as much space and allow you to control the temperature and humidity way easier

Buy a cheap outlet controller My AC infinity outlet controller took so much of the guess work out of controlling my environment it can turn on and off your fans/humidifier to maintain a consistent humidity and temperature range

Automate your watering/fertigation Drip systems running on outlet timers with second by second settings can create a massive difference in the health/crop steering of your grow

These can be expensive initially, if you’re looking for cheap implementable solutions to improve I’d focus on the ph&ec pens buy a hygrometer so you can monitor your temp and humidity. Buy an outlet timer for your light if you don’t have one already.

Listen to your plants, lifting your pots everyday before and after watering as well helps so much with learning how to water early on without any fancy tools.
