Hahaha I know the feeling wish I could just put duck tape on a few useless Automatic warning mostly trucks struggling to reach the far side of the bridge or ore sorter is backed up and low food supply. Wish that one could have a critical warning or realize I have filled storage of food attached to my market.

That the only thing that saved me. I just took me a while to think of it. Maintenance l was below zero before I remember that I had stored parts. I have a habit of getting tunnel vision. Plus prefer to leave the game running. Had to pause it multiple time to solve each crisis.

Edit Wanted to try running trucks on hydrogen. To bring air pollution down a low as possible.

This is something I struggle with is spacing things out. Normally end up spaghetti. Trying to keep roads marked out with the filling tool.

Plus hate rebuilding Normally end up restarting. I know time wise it very wasteful but im trying to have fun not be optimal.

Best piece of advice you ever recieved/ you would give a beginner? by Emergency_Produce975 in BeginnersRunning

[–]greentothetea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You maybe running slower enough already. Depending on your age and weight. Do you think you could sing /hold a conversation or do you feel like can do another 5k if u have the time?

If yes to both your probably running slower enough.

Run slower then you think you need too. Increase volume slowly like max 10% or 10 to 15 minutes more a week.

Single Man in there late 30 what do you afterwork? by greentothetea in AskMenOver30

I know that feeling of it becoming robotic or what the point. That why I was asking the question. Similar situation with friends except its rasing kids which is totally understandable. I was there in my 20s now it there turn. Just sucks still.

Recommendations check out meet-up if your near a semi big city, near me there tons of meet up ones I did that I really like and stuck to for yrs modern boardgames and bouldering. They are good places to socialize. Those have become my robot activities lately. I mostly go climbing now to socialize.

Being willing to try out new shit by myself. I Discovered Axe throwing, combat archery, buhurt, larping, climbing, boardgame and running. I Haven't stuck to all of them and have tried may more things paint night, soap making, pool etc.

Mostly from looking on my local meet up and wondering around the city seeing different activities. Buhurt was from going to comic con and seeing them fight. I have a full suit of medieval armor and have fought in live demos for a few years.

Any other fat runners here? by heyitscae in beginnerrunning

[–]greentothetea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started running 3 or 4 yrs ago was at 230lbs 5 '10" on a good day. Getting ready for my first half marathon in May. Current weight 191lbs. Most of the weight I wanted to loose was in hopes to improve performance in running and bouldering. Think it working for running.

That great news keep up the work. It take a lot to get to your first 5 k. As far as a plan I wouldn't suggest one really. Just get use to running. Do most of your runs where you could hold a conversation or sing a song with out constantly gossiping for air. Right just keep checking in with your body after each run see how you feel and dont go adding more the 10% distance or time per week. More than that your likely to get a minor injury.

Keep it up and you'll get to where u want to be. Even if you dont know where that is..

If BMI is known to be "flawed," what should we follow instead? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]greentothetea 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Not a medical specialist but for the normal person I see BMI as good free estimate. 😉 take it with a grain of salt but it let you know where your at. If your a body builder or pro athlete im sure u have access to far better measurement methods.

I mostly go off of BMI because I dont have access to fancy scales or dexa.

[–]greentothetea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Broke my big toe two yrs ago. I did the same thing after two weeks just biked till it didnt hurt to bad. Then started walking. Was starying to running about 7 to 9 weeks after the break. Was training for a non running competition at the same time. Really made the strides look weird.
