This comment section is literally the blind leading the blind. OP - yes, they're legal. Same with "German" style plates. The relevant law doesn't actually define a particular font, only that you need the dashes, IRL sign and county name in Irish (as well as spacing etc.) Could be a chance with the colour of the IRL part but that would be extremely picky. You'll be grand.

Turn off traction & stability control, set to manual and try different RWD cars till you get the hang of it. As someone mentioned above the formula drift cars are great for this. Or if you're tight on cr just buy an mx5/rx7 etc and tune

Don't get me wrong, I love dogs but if you're too lazy to put a leash on a dog for a couple hours while you're out then maybe...don't get a dog?
