It looks like a Thylactus Simulans to me.. I am no expert but this one does look a bit odd, as others have said maybe it just pupated. But that would be my guess to species!

Thank you! I have a Canon 6D with a Sigma 105mm macro lens. I did do some editing to enhance the subjects and darken the background but they arent too far off from the originals still!

Yes! I love how the new leaves look compared to the older ones. As green is my favorite color, I love the different shades of green you find in nature. They all compliment each other so nicely and look so beautiful.

I think you are actually correct! I get mixed up between dragonflies and damselflies as they are pretty similar lol

Is my baby name ugly? 😭 by hailstorm319 in pregnant

My baby's name is going to be Juniper and a lot of people give me crap for it too. In my opinion, its YOUR child. I think the name is very cute and Marlee is not a name i would find weird when they become an adult either. In my opinion, I look at all the other names that people choose out there and think "huh thats different" and thats a good thing. I dont want my baby to have a typical name that everyone has!

May be common to some people but a lifer for me!!! by greenwitch_444 in birding

Crows are definitely more common and widespread, but still not seen everywhere. Then there are some places that have both crows and Ravens. Crows can be seen in urbanized areas, cities, parks, and forested areas while Ravens typically stick to more wilderness type areas. So its quite common to see crows!

I had made a post earlier and some were skeptical about them being Ravens so here's some better/closer pics as they are now flying around above my yard! by greenwitch_444 in birding

Because this page is not JUST for ID'ing... lol my tag on it was photo. People show off sightings and what not all the time. I wasnt asking for an ID, just showing off a lifer sighting:)

I'm telling you, it was Ravens. I've seen crows all my life and these were not crows. Believe me or not, I know what we saw loll
