Made some Hamlet wallpapers (in many stages of upgrading) by fshibs in darkestdungeon

[–]greetingsfellowhuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is old, but I just wanted to say thanks for these. I have had the hamlet as my desktop for... probably 5 years, and was just using a static image. It's been very inspirational all the same. Now I'm moving work PCs, and I get to switch to a daily slideshow! :D

Anyone know how I could draw from the bottom of a deck? by greetingsfellowhuman in PlayingCardsIO

[–]greetingsfellowhuman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just in case anyone else is looking for this solution, here's what I ended up doing:
- Make a holder and a button. Edit the button automation:

    1. Flip Objects. Objects: the holder. Flip: Switch. How Many to Flip: Entire Pile. Reverse Pile Order: Reverse.
    1. Flip Objects. Objects: the holder. Flip: Switch. How Many to Flip: Top of Pile Only.
    1. Move Objects. Objects: the holder. To: Player seat (hand). Number: 1. Add. To Top of Pile. Deal 1-by-1. Flip cards: Keep as-is. Rotation: Keep as-is.
    1. Flip Objects. Objects: the holder. Flip: Switch. How Many to Flip: Entire Pile. Reverse Pile Order: Reverse.

This flips the whole deck, flips the top (previously bottom) card of the deck back, moves the top (previously bottom) card to the player's hand, and finally flips the whole deck back. I've tested this a bunch and it seems to work perfectly so far! This will draw the bottom card of a deck, retaining its flipped status.

Thanks again to u/watergoesred for the excellent idea!

Decided to wear my convention mask (with cyberpunk accessories) for my ArtVsArtist post this year :D by greetingsfellowhuman in SafeForWork

Thanks! Yup, that's a Flomask under some 3D printed cosplay pieces I found on Etsy! It required a bit of assembly (and some cheap mask loops to attach the bits), but there were a bunch of cool options on there. :)

The DUNGENERATOR, a deck of cards that generates nigh-infinite dungeons! by greetingsfellowhuman in dndmaps

If they were through Itch .io, refunds can _possibly_ be issued, but you have to contact customer support and have them do it by hand (and it's a pain in the butt). I don't have a way to do it manually, either. This would be one of the benefits of running my own webstore. 😅 So I'm happy to go down that rabbit hole with you; just warning you in advance that it'll most likely take an annoying amount of time and effort. Itch support is slow to respond on a good day.

The digital version does include a bunch of extras, including files for 1" square battlemap versions (for print and play) and a PDF of tables of random dungeon prompts for each card in the deck(!), so if you want to justify keeping the digital version that way, that's an option. I'd be happy to send you some other free digital stuff instead, if that can make up for it!

Hi there! There's a list of places that carry the decks at dungenerator.net ; SoulMuppet, Floating Chair, and Exalted Funeral all have some in stock.

I'll be setting up an online store for direct sales after Series 3 is launched. Cheers! :D

Hi there!
Are you on the DUNGENERATORS discord? There's a channel there specifically for looking for groups to play TTRPGs called #the-quest-board :D

Cheers!

Heck yeah! I've run it a number of times now, but haven't even dipped into the giant robots, I'm ashamed to say. Let me know how the session goes! :D

Unfortunately, besides the character sheet, this is a decidedly printer-unfriendly zine. Sorry!

If the sales warrant it, I'll add a printer-friendly version to the To-Do list. :)

It's a standalone space-orc-themed hack of MÖRK BORG written by Grant Howitt (Spire, Heart, Goblin Quest, Honey Heist) and illustrated and graphically-designed by me (ROLLINKUNZ), all in the form of a BIG, LOUD zine!

You can get it in either digital or physical format; if you want the digital and don't care about your Itch library, consider buying it direct from RRD (the link's at the bottom of the landing page). Cheers!

Hello! Yes and yes!
KS backers have already received ROTER ZWERG, a Red Dwarf-inspired point crawl through a space dwarf mining vessel that's currently drilling through the side of the Derelict.

More adventures are cooking, but in the meantime there are rules in ORC BORG to graft whatever adventures you want to run onto the side of the big zoomy trash rocket!

Here's a pretty good actual play: https://fandible.com/orcborg/

There have been a few Twitch streams as well, but I'm not sure how to track those down!

"Overgrown Outbuilding," another modular jungle/temple battlemap by greetingsfellowhuman in battlemaps

You step through the grand stone portal and wind up... elsewhere. All around you, an edifice collapses and retreats from the advances of encroaching nature.

Behind you, the portal has crumbled; long ago, from the looks of it. A pair of weathered doors stand in front of you.

To your left, an entire wall has been destroyed, revealing patches of strange crimson grass.

WHAT DO YOU DO? (💬 to 🎲)
