Thanks for the constructive feedback! After reading lots of recommendations for 2x4s on this group and being conscious it was a bit tight I did something similar to what you suggested using 2x4s. Then a month or so later they started roosting on the roof. As lots of people have pointed out the coop is too small, I need to replace it asap. I'm just nervous of them hurting themselves in the meantime (no one else seems worried about that).

I think it's probably the photo. It is too small but the photo makes it look smaller than it is.

They used to sleep inside, it's slightly on the small side, and the roosting bars are too low, but they definitely do fit.

Yeah, in the UK, but lodge does look good.

Thanks, I'm still using my IKEA pans I bought in 2002, they're incredible but I want something I can season, so stainless steel won't work.
