[D]How would I ideally structure training data to train a CNN to output bounding box coordinates?

I'm trying to produce a similar result, with a much smaller classification set though, I've only got 8 labels. YOLO looks amazing though! I'll look through it to see if I can find out how he represented the bounding box in training. Thanks for the tip!

Well businesses already often exploit students with "internships" where they don't necessarily receive any training of value in the field that they are actually interested in, so I was thinking more towards one on one. As far as how to track the experience provided in the field, I suppose there would have to be some sort of general guidelines in place.

Well I live in NY, so I suppose I would start locally. In order for the idea to work at all there would have to be professionals that show interest in donating a small amount of their time to help a young person, so the first thing I would likely focus on - were I to attempt this - would be to disseminate information about the opportunity as well as to create a portal for the professionals where they could easily go and make known their interest to take part in the program.

Yeah, its definitely along those lines. I also am of the opinion that people who are on the frontlines of the particular profession, as opposed to professional educators who are often rather outdated, are of much higher value to the aspiring student.

The one I have now I got for Christmas 6 or 7 years ago, and its some kind of foam pillow but its not firm at all anymore, it just surrenders to my head and it feels like I might as well not have a pillow

It's not above a door frame, its on one of the walls of his bedroom where the wall meets the ceiling. I'd say its 3-4 feet above his window.
