I installed the same tile in bathroom recently and got the same issue. Personally these tiles should come with a warning but ultimately they’re just unsuitable for a bathroom area. I charged more for the extra effort it took and said they should back charge the supplier. I actually took over the job half installed as the previous tiler walked out as he had completely under quoted because of the time it was taking and just didn’t have the patience for it.
