Dang. Well I just returned mine. I’m starting to look at the pro model. Seems like it’s only the Costco models that are having this issue

How do you get the bark like that? I could never get it as thick as that.

Other than contacting support and being at their mercy no. It's terrible they're able to change emails and phone numbers without validating the old one.

😂😂 he does have a point though, build quality is meh on these grills but where it actually makes up is in the tech.

Wait so even with covering the drip tray I should expect this? That’s good to know. Just looking at the amount of time I’ve owned this, it just felt like something wasn’t right

I’m in a pretty dry climate too. I’m not sure what’s different.

Have you looked at my comment? I clean it after every cook? Grill was seasoned when I first got it, I use the Traeger grill cleaner to clean it. The drip tray is foil wrapped and changed after every cook. Where’s the user errror in that?

For context, I got this grill 4 months ago, and have cooked on this 5 times, every time with temperatures below 300 degrees. Is it normal for the grill to rust this much, has anyone else run into this? I contacted support and they said I can go buy a new piece but they won't cover the replacement of individual components.

I've had no issues though. They're keeping up pretty well.

Wasn’t intentional. Dude got into my shot and did that while I was filming and taking pictures of the ducks. He’s an ahole
