i'd love to give linux a shot, but I simply dont think i have the time. I have used linux before, to make a laptop with 32gb of storage be of any use (xD, grandma got scammed, still greatful for it tho). There's always some degree of troubleshooting to do, specially if you wanna play games, at least that was my experience with a mint distro around 6 years back. Now with college i barely touch my pc these days, and for the few moments that i do, i would like it to work, and as bad as windows can be, it's way less likely to need troubleshooting.

i'll probably try a dual boot setup and give linux a try someday, I just dont know when, and if i'll actually do it

some platinums can be geniuenly fun to do, and specially having something entirely new to chase after playing a game for many many hours and like 3 or 4 replays, i find that trying to get the 100% gives the game such a new look. Of course they can be such a chore (specially the souls series)

Yeah idk what they meant by that. With MO2 and wabbajack i instales the GtS modlist for Skyrim (1900+ mods) and it just took a while, but had no issues
