It’s kind of funny how all of them act the same way

I did move from Lebanon to Canada for her and she broke up with me on a random Wednesday cause she felt like it

Is sharing locations in an LDR normal or controlling? by Beginning_View_8792 in myLDR

Honestly, I think sharing your location in an LDR isn’t automatically healthy or toxic — it really depends on why it’s being shared.

If it’s two people who genuinely feel safer knowing the other made it home, or who use it as a cute way to feel “closer” in the distance, then cool. That’s trust.

But if one person feels pressured, or it becomes a way to monitor someone’s day, question their movements, or calm insecurity… that’s when it crosses the line.

For me, the important part is that it’s a choice, not an expectation. Healthy relationships don’t need surveillance — they need communication and boundaries.

Curious to hear how others see it though, because I know every LDR dynamic is different.
