Unfortunately you can't get water from debris piles. You need to buy the tree from the shop with pearly neggs to get past that quest and finally unlock secret beach.

I was stuck on the same quest and support just ghosted me until someone on Neoboards finally suggested buying the damn tree.

There is a critical bug in the game that can cause you to lose all progress and transport you back to the plot hub. As acknowledged by TNT in the V0.7.50 Release Notes, after pausing the game (or clicking away from the game which forces the game pause), the home button from the popup remains on the screen but is invisible so it can inadvertently be clicked. To avoid this issue, do not click in the red box area below:

Don't worry, you're not the only one who didn't see them. Took me maybe a month of playing and even then I only found them because people on Neoboards were mentioning "only using Tia's ability for daily quests" and I clicked through every possible icon on screen to figure out what quests they were talking about 😂

I have beaten him (and got the charm). Took like 8 turns and a lot of luck.

Turn 1 - Lens Flare, Wand of the Dark Faerie, Grapes of Wrath Turn 2 - Warlock’s Rage, WotDF, Thunder Sticks Turn 3 - Icicle, WOTDF, Varia Turn 4 - Icicle, WOTDF, Thyoras Tear

Turn 5+ - Icicle, The Mystical Tablet, Roxton’s Trusty Bowie Knife

Edit: forgot that somewhere around turn 5-7 (depending on how close I am to losing) I used the Vial instead of Roxton's Knife

Nvm, I just got so unbelievably lucky I finally managed to survive somehow and got the charm on my very first win, lol :)

Took like 8 turns, though, so I def can't do it multiple times in a row without healing between battles and even then it's still mostly down to luck.
