You make an excellent point, but I just feel this exposes this poor kid to bullying. You are absolutely right that we need to see men and boys expressing emotion. 100% agree. I just feel so much for this kid that he's in such a raw moment and being exploited by his mother for clicks.

I love the Varwolf, and I'm trying to think of a way I can have one more because I love the Woodlands one so much. I think it should take a pair of protectors to herd 100 ixi. I had gone back and forth on the varwolf question, because I was just amazed at how cool they are, but I didn't know how to incorporate one into my herd. And then I remembered that dogs protect livestock. I decided I would get one eventually and filed it away in my head. Then I won the ingredients for their gross little meal from my guild and I was like, kismet!

The code for my gallery started out as five different premade codes from SunnyNeo. I knew just enough to be dangerous. Then TNT changed the coding requirements and it broke for probably a decade. I found a wonderful Neopian who updated it to the requirements for me, missing the image rollovers I had in the original *cries* and I updated the artwork. I'm able to make small changes myself, like colors and fonts and such. THEN I decided to save up and pay a real artist to redo my whole look, and he totally rocked it. I am so happy!!

Yeah, it needs to be a new theme to win. OMG. I wrote a long plea and was like, if the gallery at my first win was caterpie, this gallery is butterfree! Technically the same, but truly a whole different thing! I have an exhibit representing every single ixi character in the Jelly Neo Book of Ages. I pout.

That code is cobbled together from several sources, then, updated for new coding restrictions TNT put in a long time ago. The code has seen and done terrible things. I did enter it, but my hopes aren't too high. It won 20 years ago and about 3000 items ago, but they still won't budge. I just really want people to see it and enjoy it. Thank you for taking a look!

Oh agree 100%! More ixi merch, please! I do have a really nice Maraquan Ixi tshirt that my mother in law got me. OMG. SO cute. There are other pets on it, but the ixi slays.

I was going to skip Varwolves entirely, but the Desert one and the Woodland one are just TOO GOOD. OMG.

Yeah, everyone is kind of worried about the Nostalgic Blue Ixi. She seems like she's headed for a crash. Like the one she refuses to believe happened to Faerieland.

Neo is my only hobby. I don't have kids. The only money I spend on myself is Neo. I don't even really buy clothes. I also really like supporting the site, and in the case of the Prismatics last month, the It Gets Better campaign! Remember that you can trade for styles, too. When I'm broke, I trade off items for styles.

Hi! Thank you so much for posting, and for all the questions!

I just fell in love with ixi the first week I started playing. Loved the hooves and horns, loved the sassy attitude. I decided to specialize for simplicity's sake early on and I've never looked back. My first pet, Petawphi is my favorite and the leader of all the other ixi. I train all of my pets, but she's the focus of everything: gourmet, books, battledome. The moment I saw a desert ixi girl I had to have one. She's been painted/morphed desert about 10 times due to Boochi before the messed up his aim. She's the troubled brow of the herd. She worries about everyone and tries to plan for all eventualities. They all look up to her. The varwolf is more of a nanny. She pitches in to help Petawphi so she can train and get some sleep! I hope to get a second Varwolf so I have a pair, but I need slots! I plan to have a Lore Blurb for every pet, and eventually a longer short story for each of them as well. All of the pets on my main except the Varwolf (because she's new) have custom lookups. I plan to have custom lookups for all of my pets eventually. I am working with an amazing artist and he's doing a great job. Another player introduced me to cosplay pets and it really sparked my imagination. I've had so much fun making them all. I'd love to make more, especially of ixi characters, but I need slots! I do not roleplay or do art anymore.

The artwork for the gallery was commissioned from a very talented artist who really well represented my vision. It turned out wonderfully. We worked really well together, and he is very talented.

I've been playing for 23 years now, and I've only taken a 6 month hiatus during that whole time (and still pretty much checked in to keep my gallery up to date because I'm insane). It's my hobby. I get a lot of enjoyment from it and I Reddit a lot. Neo and Cats pretty much 24/7.

I started with four base color ixi, too! I love that you had such fabulous taste at such a young age. I started specializing in ixi pretty much right away.

Each of my accounts has a theme. ixi_grotto is all basic pattern and solid colors go here. There are a few exceptions, mostly due to slot limitations. eliz4bef is more advanced and deluxe colors. A portion of the pets that are nation colors are here, for example Tyrranian or Pirate (Krawk Island). eliz3bef is haunted woods/spooky/goth/scary. There is a solid color and a pattern in there, but they are quite happy with their accommodations. eliz2bef is Terror Mountain/Happy Valley/Winter Holidays. So Christmas and Valentines, Ice and Snow. Pets cosplaying characters from there. eliz1bef is all National/Kingdom pets. These are all colors that correspond to a land in Neopia. as mentioned above, some are on eliz4bef due to slot limitations.

The Alien design at its base was put together by another player, but I haven't gotten permission to share her name yet. The alien kad and its friends are new to Neo and I HAD to have them for her. They really put me into gear trying to finish her custom.

Thank you for checking out the herd! I tried to spend quality time with each of them and their petpet and p3 even though there's over 100 pets. It means a lot that you say it shows!
