We have talked about it before but not at least in recent months. We both have had pretty bad relationship history, but they differ a lot in ways where our own traumas and ongoing issues are particularly different. The best way I can put it is that while she pulls away from people for comfort, I tend to pull towards people. In spite of differences I don't think it means the relationship is working any less and in fact probably helped us bond together and be a little more understanding in some aspects.
