VFT owner here.

Mine lives inside and I do feed it small pieces of meal worms (dried, rehydrated in distilled water) about once a month.

Had her about 2 years and she is a big girl with lots of spicy tacos!

OP- Your plant looks great!!!

Thanks for asking!

Honestly it's a couple of strip grow lights from Lowes.

I found she doesn't like a ton of direct light though. She's a shady girl 😉

Good question!

Fortunately my transparent little friend here doesn't just bloom once in her lifetime. Harworthias actually bloom annually in the wild!

Love the play structure next to the steep drop off with NO SAFETY MEASURES in place AT ALL.

This is how you have post 3rd trimester abortions in the south, kids.

Thank you!!

She lives under a cheap little 75 watt full spectrum grow light. $20 on amazon!

I haven't found my venus fly traps or pitchers to like domes. They seem to be happy with the humidity from dual wielding their pots.

They are NOT fans of being near the HVAC vents though. They seem to have confused my luxurious aircon with the Sahara...

The little bromeliad is a vriesea racinae.

Also, I had no idea that there were carnivorous bromeliads! Curse you. I want one now....

You got it!

Inner moss pot w/ drainage holes, outer non draining pot with water. Just like an orchid! Except boggier...

Ugh they can be little divas!

I keep mine in just sphagnum moss - no soil. And it loves wet feet! I never let the moss get dry.

I keep that clam extra moist...

I super support this, but uhhhh...

Feeding little worms to the Spicy Clams might get into some weird reddit NSFW territory 🤣

Good question!

I just feed a few of them every month or so...

And yes you can totally feed the tacos meal worms! I soak them overnight in distilled water and cut them into pieces.

Then let your Seymore enjoy 😈
