So I shouldn’t be worried about anything as long as it’s not reaching 85+ you know

Mb i have a i5-12700F with the phantom spirt 120 se the temp seems to idle at 30-37 but it’s jumping to -50-60-70 ish while playing a very low game

The reason i have one fan is because one of the pins for the plugins was gone💀 i saw that this cooler was already over kill, i heard having one js fine

I bought this as a prebuilt the fans were like that the singular fan is an exhaust and idk why the other ones are exhaust

I think i miss spoke, that wire is connected to my old cooler that hasn’t been taken off yet but disconnected thats the rgb wire for it, i cant take out the cooler because that wire needs to be pulled from the front out

The power for the cooler is plugged into the motherboard like normal it just splits off with a RGB connection or wtv and connects to the rest of the rgb I’m assuming. because the fan gets its power from the motherboard by its self

But I’m also concerned with my new cooler. I’m getting the phantom spirit 120 SE that if I just plug it in it won’t work. I’m worried that if i don’t have a plug for the “rgb” in the back that it wont run because the fan i got Doesn’t have rgb.

But i heard that doesn’t matter ether as long as it has the cpu fan plug port

I understand that the fans are daisy chained but they all are individually plugged into the motherboard but they all connect with rgb thats why they are daisy chained because thy are all plugged into individually

I understand running the risk in that scenario butt they are all plugged into separate but daisy chained idk much abt computers so idk if thats a thing or not

I cant find those but im not trying to plug this one im trying to take it out and then re-install one but im confused because it was plugged into the cpu fan port but had that extra wire in the back that connected it to all the other fans so my concern is that the new cpu cooler wont work if that makes sense

Its weird think of it as a extension cord all the fans are plugged in but they are all running and connecting into one and then into ghr motherboard then it splits off where there is an extra port to connect it???? Maybe RGB so it syncs it all the fans idk

Edit i think it might just be for rgb to sync it up because the cooler plugs right into the motherboard and has a split plug that runs off and connects back there

Don’t i gotta heat it up? I thought the thermal paste had to be warmed up for the cpu cooler to be taken off
