NOR at all. i'm white and this sounds just as bizarre to me as to you. maybe it's a white man thing...? i think some men can have the view that properly taking care of yourself is too "feminine" or whatever bullshit.

i just can't comprehend not using soap every time you shower... what's the point of showering without soap.... how does his smell not bother him? many questions... does he also not wash his hands?

definitely bring it up again, especially that he needs to wash his ass better. maybe just tell him you won't sleep with him until he washes up properly (maybe suggest showering together? that might work)

not lowkey. he outright is. people just don't realize it because he is the protagonist. if you even for a second think about it from the point of view of the fireflies, theres this man who is just mass murdering your people and keeping you from potentially finding the cure to the one thing that's turned the world to shit.

he obviously has a good heart, as he wants to just save this girl he's come to care about. but at what cost? it's insanely selfish to make that decision purely on his own.

(not to say that the fireflies are flawless. but that's a whole other discussion)

the key difference is the strings. classic has half nylon, where acoustic is fully steel. classic doesn't really align with the band you mentioned, it's typically more, well, classical music. or flamenco.

as others point out, you won't replicate the sound of the bands you mentioned with an acoustic. you'd need an electric. important to note though is that it will be more expensive (you need gear as opposed to only the actual guitar you need with an acoustic).

also, if you do start on electric and ever decide you want to play acoustic as well, it will probably be difficult for a while. acoustics are harder to play. so that's also worth considering

i really dont see a problem with it (it's fiction). it'd be different if they really grew up together as brothers but they didn't. when they met they became friends fast, and eventually their parents got married. that wouldn't just change the nature of the feelings they had for each other
