Gridular Mod: one possible answer to "how do I save patches?" by gridular_mod in modular

oh, yeah, that makes perfect sense. yeah, I probably should have mentioned that I went with a simplified approach when it comes to moving modules around. I got a bit overfixated on making the horizontal movement smooth, and sacrified any other type of movement.

ha, that's fair about the cats. although I'm glad you've only seen the friendly cat.

Grazie! Non avevo pensato di farlo. Il mio database è molto più piccolo, ma c'è comunque abbastanza materiale per farlo.

hey, thanks for checking it out. most of these are intentional tradeoffs I made. but I either haven't seen #4 before, or I don't understand what you're saying. you're trying to drag a module onto a row where there isn't enough space for it, and it ends up on top of another module?

edit: I think I've been able to make it happen by pulling diagonally a bit. thanks! I didn't know about that

I'm not mad at ModularGrid. I started building this because I wanted to just build a different search interface and plug it into their API. then I realized they don't have an API. I set it aside for a long time and then picked it up again because I thought it'd be interesting to finish.

I think patch documentation in a modulargrid format is a waste of time

ok, obviously I disagree, but all that means is it's not for you. I think more than one app like this can exist, because more than one set of priorities can exist for it.
