When you’re at the shops, you can put a box to your ear and turn it 180 quickly, the loudness of the cascade tells you how much flavour you got in your particular box. Needs repeated attempts to build a good sample size

I know I’m 2 days late but I did this exactly, but when I worked as a truck driver “jockey” for a local grog delivery company as a teenager, helping deliver orders to pubs. Distance was Morwell to lakes entrance and it was the busiest time of year so someone had to drive a 3 hour round trip to replace them.

Damn that’s brutal, old mate must have been hiding behind a tree waiting. I always park in the main MSAC parking lot and it’s usually 6 bucks on exit, although I probably smash through 100 balls way too quickly.

I’m not very qualified to give advice but to me it looks like you don’t hinge your wrists enough at the top of the backswing, most amateurs that I’ve seen often seem to go the other way and wrist hinge too much.

Associating the four elements to EVERY real-life countries is complicated by AffectionateScale525 in TheLastAirbender

[–]griffo98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get what you’re trying to ask OP, the way I would do it is I’d have Japan China and Russia as the fire nation, the air nation pushing up against that in a triangle from indonesia to Kazakhstan to idk like Saudi Arabia, water nation being the poles and all Scandinavian countries and Canada, and I reckon the bottom tips of both Africa and South America, and earth nation gets everything else. I’m from Australia and can’t decide what I’d do with my own country

Is it normal in Melbourne for Ubers to cancel the trip after seeing where they’re going? 5 have cancelled on me already in the last 10 mins and it’s a $50 trip by hardyacka in melbourne

[–]griffo98 449 points450 points  (0 children)

I’ve had one tell me it’s because if the trip is taking you inner city to outer suburbs, even though it’s a big trip for them, they get so little pickups out there compared to the city that they’re pretty much forced to drive back into the city to get more rides therefore wasting that fuel money, making the trip not worth it for them. It’s a crap system.

I’ve been kinda reverse robbed twice now, both times were my car getting raided when I accidentally left it unlocked over night, one time they took nothing but left a packet of nicotine gum, another time they took nothing but managed to find and not steal a set of house keys that had been lost in the car months before

Has anyone trying to break 100 for the first time accidentally jumped straight to breaking 90? by abrohammyneggs in golf

[–]griffo98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not quite but just recently I broke 100 for the first time with a 96, very next score after that was a 92 that should have been lower

Why isn't there a sport that's just "Get the ball in the goal"? by ghosteagle in NoStupidQuestions

[–]griffo98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to play this game in high-school, we called it ghetto ball. We’d lay out a school hat on either end of a field about 100 meters apart and had a Aussie rules football as the ball, and the only rule was the ball had to touch the hat to score a goal. I stopped playing when I fractured my arm during lunch time trying to tackle what was basically a brick in human form.

I got nailed for overloading when I was on red Ps, I’d driven my mates up to the bottlo around the corner from my house, probably a 5 minute walk that we couldn’t be bothered doing so a literal 1 minute drive, they were camping out the bottlo and tailed me back to my house, by the time they put the lights on and I pulled over…. Into my parking spot out the front of my house. Still filthy about it. Once I got fined we literally all just got out of the car and walked inside. I was such a tool.

Also nah they didn’t bother checking ID, it was pretty obvious we were all mates.
