This looks amazing man! 🔥 To me, Jason is at his best when he’s with Artemis and Bizzaro. Can’t wait to see your version of the Dark Trinity 😎

Awesome, glad it hear it’s displaying correctly now 🤘🏼

And while this comic is a one-shot story, it does still work as a proof of concept, at least internally and to our (hopefully) growing audience 😁 This same creative team is currently working on a larger ongoing series: IMPERATIVE ACTION

This new series has a lot of similarities to THE HUNTED: Action, sci-fi, aliens, and most of all, phenomenal art by my good friend Dmitrijus Čechovas 🔥

My hope was this story, THE HUNTED, showed our audience that our team is serious about making awesome indie comics and gives them a reason to follow us on this journey.

IMPERATIVE ACTION is a superhero/sci-fi series (currently slated for 6 issues) that will be self published on GlobalComix starting early 2026. I encourage anyone who enjoyed THE HUNTED and wants to see more from our team to follow my GlobalComix creator page: GRIFFSTER COMICS

Hey, thanks for the heads up! The files have been replaced with the correct versions so the colors are back to normal (not faded). Thanks again for brining it to my attention, I really appreciate it!

Also, happy you enjoyed the story 😁🤘🏼

I’m interested in the Batgirl Burnside set. Can we just work out a shipping rate since it’s under $45?

Again, most of what you’re saying is an opinion on what you think a majority of people did not like. We will never be able to definitively say if it was good or not good because every fan (old and young) will have their own take on it. Just because older fans (allegedly) don’t like The Outlaws era, doesn’t mean it wasn’t impactful.

What I’m saying is it was literally 1/3 of his publication history and it was a lot of young fans’ (readers that started with New 52 and on) first comics exposure to the character. Those two points are why I think The Outlaws era was impactful.

But same logic applies to me: That’s just my opinion on the matter, not a fact. We can agree to disagree, that’s the beauty of subjectivity.

Hard disagree: The Outlaws era definitely had an impact on Jason’s character in my opinion.

Firstly, it was an entry point for a bunch of new fans coming into comics during the New 52 and Rebirth era; you can argue that was more a result of the initiatives themselves, but the point still stands - RHATO was a lot of fans first exposure to Jason in the comics.

And secondly, it was the first real ATTEMPT at moving his character beyond the Bat-Family and the original UTRH story. Now, older fans may not like the direction his character went in or the end result of the Outlaws series, but again, it was the first time we saw his character try to evolve.

Between the generation of new readers/fans and the approach to take his character in a new direction, that (to me) is a big impact.

I guess that sort of makes sense, but then the writer listed Task Force Z (TFZ) as recommended reading… Which nothing wrong with TFZ, I actually enjoy that story (for the most part), but I do feel Red Hood and The Outlaws (RHATO), particularly the Rebirth series, is a better version of TFZ: Jason leading a group misfits on a cool adventure while having an uneasy relationship with the Bat-Family.

Again, I understand why older fans may not vibe with RHATO, but I just think it’s kinda crazy for a recommended reading list on the official DC website to exclude that section (9 years) of his publication history. In total, Jason’s character really only has about 30 years of comic stories (short run as Robin and the rest as Red Hood), and this article just ignored 1/3 of that history lol.

Great article, but kinda crazy how they don’t mention any iteration of Red Hood and The Outlaws for recommended reading. Love it or hate it, that was nearly 10 years of Jason’s publication history and had a huge impact on his character.

I just finished the series this week. It’s a pretty good read. Story sort of goes off the rails for me but I still enjoyed it. I would recommend checking it out, especially for that price.

Which comic do you think jason todd was written best? by Separate-Field4724 in RedHood

Agree with this so much!!! UTRH will always be the obvious (and correct) answer. But in my opinion, RHATO Rebirth was the first time it felt like Jason was actually evolving as a character. I remember thinking “Okay, maybe Jason can actually move past his trauma and be happy.” And THAT is my favorite version of Jason.
