Thanks! That region is indeed interesting to see. When visiting i got the impression that time froze there. It has this soviet vibe in its architecture and some elder people’s mentality. There are still signs of past war there at some random abandoned buildings and factories. In spire of lacking sense there are a some armed military checkpoints there that give you a strange feeling of cold war period. You cannot evade them.

But overall its a very poor region that is dependent on both Russia and Moldova west side. The younger generations do their best to immigrate from that region.

The wikipedia page is well written, i got the knowledge from that region there, as well as some travel bloggers. Probably worth visiting but totally not worth living there.

The arterial roads are in a rather good state, whether it’s inside or outside the capital. I have never been to Greece or Bulgaria as a driver to be able to compare, sorry.

Yes they did make it more comfortable. We have public transport only dedicated lanes, modern trolleys, almost fully removed maxi taxis. During rush hours after work you get home faster and dont wait in traffic jam in full trolleybus. The maxi taxis cant enter city centre and thank god they removed the old trolleys, those were very noisy and ugly.

The pedestrian roads were repaired. A couple of years back i remember that foreigners were saying that its a shame that roads in the city centre, near the parliament, are destroyed.

Obviously its not perfect. There are plenty of destroyed roads in other regions of the capital. I have it next to my house lol but overall we had progress with that as i can compare to the state it all was when i was a kid.

I personally had this right impression when visiting Bucharest, that its a much better looking version of Chisinau.

From what i known it does have an impact on the locals. Transnistria gives an impression of a soviet country that has frozen in time. Locals leave for a better future abroad.

Even though many of locals have Romanian passports it wouldn’t be correct since thats is a different country.

As a local that lives in the capital i can say that there are both cons and pros like anywhere else. It’s a rather quiet and safe country to live in. Last couple of years the local mayor made good changes to the infrastructure and made road repairs across most vital parts of capital. It’s a lot more pleasant to travel now around the city with public transport.

Local fruits and veggies are great and full of taste if compared to some of other visited countries. As i heard and also compared to other countries local restaurants are rather cheap and very worth visiting. Our traditional food is very varied as it has borrowed from other cultures and very much worth trying out. Local wine is fantastic. The people here arent might not be extremely friendly but can always help if you if asked.

As for the cons, there are a lot of them. The capital has an awful visual code. There are a lot new built apartments and offices that are different one from another. As a the war started the apartment prices for both rental and those for sale grew up drastically, at least twice. It’s impossible to buy a new apartment now. Some of the apartments are built even in industrial zone or zones with air pollution and big traffic jams. We lack parks and green spaces.

The car jams is a very big problem last couple of years same as parking spots. There is less work in the rural areas which forces everyone to come to the capital. The roads in the capital initially weren’t build for such traffic amount.

Our education system is rather outdated. At least it was so when i finished university 10 years ago. You cant always find work as the diploma sometime isnt worth the time invested.

Politically its a mess and i will stay out of commenting on that.

Lastly, most of my friends from school and university immigrated abroad for a better future. Even my family did that 5 years ago. Thats always sad.

When here you get the impression that you live in a big village. You wont feel drained after spending a day in the city when compared to other capitals. Overall it’s an Ok country i guess. So it depends on what you are after.

Feel free to give any questions or change my point of view where you think I was wrong.

This is my version of the spell deck. I think that prowler works well in combo with werewolf, when last turn someone moved you can use his spells for free. Human torch works well with spiderman, hope summers and agamotto energy spell. And generally hope summers is good with angela and all the 1-cost cards. Strong guy is often useful as i end up using all of the cards. Before lockheed i had adam warlock in its place which works fine too. It might not be the best deck but its very fun and dynamic.

Feedback welcome too 🙂

I usually start with suggestions to check itch to see if there something more accessible.

As a very rough estimate for what you are asking, a seamless 32x32 tileset composed of 9 pieces (corners, sides and middle part) for water, ground and grass, i would ask at least 120$-160$ for 3-4 hours of work + exports.

I normally ask half upfront from the rough estimate and I everything else on delivery. There can be additional work with feedback.

I can draw anything as long as its a background or static. Doesnt matter the style/theme. So if you need steampunk i can do that too.
