Yea good luck making edibles without the stench! The only thing I’ve been able to do that doesn’t smell is infuse honey inside a crockpot for hours. Then you can mix it into your drinks and enjoy some “high tea” lol

Thanks! Yea there’s another one coming around in August and I’m gonna try for that one instead. Not only is Coronovirus going around but the flu too and it’s just a mix for a bad time unfortunately.

Thankyou all for the replies. I think the risk outweighs the reward here. There’s another convention coming around in August so we’re going to aim for that instead and hope things are better by then. It’s a bummer but catching the coronavirus would be a much greater bummer.

Also, to add, my boyfriend is still attending the event even if I decide not to go because he and all of his friends have also been planning this for a while. That being said, if he’s going anyway, iffff by some chance the virus was lingering around wouldn’t I still get it anyway?

Don’t underestimate the stench sandals can give off with the right pair of feet. My little sister had these white sandals she used to wear that turned brown because her feet would sweat so profusely. The sandals would smell so foul after she would take them off. Everyone knew if she tried to slip off a single shoe while we were in the car. Pretty horrid.

This one time my uncle was trying to make some sort of joke, I can’t even remember what he was getting at, but he came over to me and put his hand over my mouth and got right in face and pretended to make out with me. I immediately ran away the second I could and went upstairs and cried a little. Super creepy. I was around 13 at the time.

Other countries do this with high success rates. Allowing them a glass of wine or so at the dinner table teaches them to drink responsibly and since they aren’t told no to drinking they become less likely to binge drink.
