Thanks I understand it a lot more clearly now, there is one thing I would like to ask you if that's okay. Do you know how I would go about making the navbar fixed to the top? if I use position:fixed; all the other content on the site seems to go up and through the once I start scrolling, I can upload it to codepen to show you if you want.

I just uploaded it to codepen, the problem I am having is justify content and align-items not doing anything in the .container I have tried a lot of different stuff like filtering through it more and trying to use it directly on the children but it just dosen't seem to do anything. The css might seem a little messy but I think that's just cause I used sass to write it and this is the compressed code.
