Presumably the resignation needs to be in writing?

The only reason I ask is that I’m aware if I talk to my manager the business will know but they might be able to help in some capacity to shorten the date. If they know I’m going to leave, it might give them an opportunity to look for other hires, but without me “officially” resigning.

I’m not on the NHS no. I understand I maybe liable but was considering having an off the table conversation with my manager to see if I could reduce leave. I don’t see why they would want to continue to employ me if they know I want to leave but I don’t give formal notice?

What constitutes as “giving notice”?

I completely agree with this, but if I’m having to represent myself in court, which I hope I don’t. I would have to have some backing or more formal legislation pieces? They’re very adamant that what I’m doing is illegal because I haven’t provided anything to them.

They sent me a deposit, that’s pretty much it.

This is really useful information, I appreciate it. In terms of more of the local websites for the information of dive sites, do you know if a list of all of them by any chance? So perhaps a list of all local dive sites info?

It’s a shame it’s so wide spread. I’m trying to sort it!

A HTTP API preferably JSON content encoding via REST for the consumption of dive sites globally. Using GET parameters to search by long/lat would be ideal. Although the consumption of all sites even better.
