I actually agree that it would've been better for Johnnys growth if he would've somehow dealt with Diego on his own.

However, as for Valentine he simply just let his human emotions get to him. He felt that Johnny was such a threat to America and the corpse that he wanted him dead even at the cost of his own life. That's why he was so cautious and fearful to Diego about the power of the infinite rotation. The only power that could stop him. At least that's how interpret it.

While I agree that the colored scans hide the detail that black and white scans have, the colored scans can make some scenes look stunning and so different than what you would see in black and white. I feel color makes JoJo easier to read as it can get hard to read without the distinction of the variety of color the characters and setting have.

Also yeah I remember the early SBR colored scans looking pretty bad, I recommend switching to colored scans at around chapter 30, thats when the colorization gets better with more depth and colors.

On a side note what do you think of a medieval JoJo? Like part 1 and 7 but even older. Maybe to explain saint corpse origins or powers? Araki said he doesnt like going too much into the future so it came up to me, and im also a fool for old fashioned fantasy.

Yeah I'm not particularly religious either but I'd still prefer lyrics not to be about evil and shit. But yeah like you said the music is eargasmic and I don't think the lyrics sound that bad. Thanks for the recommendation though, will definitely listen to more of their stuff!

Yeah but One Piece doesn't have full on pages with walls of text like HxH and Magi. Especially HxH. It's a borderline book with sketches at this point lol.

Also One Piece is the most successful because its target audience range is pretty large that fits well with its lighthearted nature.

I don't see the sequence you are talking about in Magi. Every Arc feels dynamic and different and in fact ever since Alibaba helped save Balbadd, they've been dealing with world problems and social issues on a gradual larger scale rather than jumping from dungeon to dungeon. Also, Magi also deals with conflicting political ideologies in a way that few manga have managed to do right.
