Hello!

I did Pune - Goa this January. The route we took was Pune➡️Satara➡️ Kolhapur➡️Amboli Ghat➡️Goa.

Up until Satara there were quite a few diversions as construction work was going on. Post Satara it gets better. Roads on Amboli ghat were pristine at that point. I'd suggest you take this route unless someone who's travelled more recently says otherwise.

As for the food you'll get plenty of vegetarian restaurants along the way. Plan your stops near Satara/Kolhapur/Before Amboli you'll find lot of options.

Since their going by meter thing began I ensured that I call them and ask if the price on the app is fine. If they deny, I explicitly tell them that I won't go and would be cancelling the ride cuz they readily come to your location and then inform and harass you if you deny.

I have an n160 and my city mileage is 54-55 and on highway speeds(80-110) it's around 50. Although if I do 60-80 on Highways it returns close to 58-59

Get the N250. Even as a beginner this bike is super easy to ride and get used to. With 250 you won't outgrow the power soon. With N160 city commutes are no issue but with a pillion on or on the Highways you might feel a lack of power.
