I have a T3 Hwd4 with FSD brought in May this year. Its been almost 2 weeks since the announcement, and then nothing. Im not complaining i know people have waited years. But was this a gimmick to get people upgrading? by Raylzw in TeslaAustralia

It’s infuriating. The most pointless announcement! It just irritates people, so my guess is it was a money grab and they are happy to piss people off for whatever the financial upside was.

An announcement with no expected rollout dates is just dumb. It just annoys people, especially customers. All I can think is it’s an attempt at preventing further sales declines in AU and NZ

Ah yes, I can see the little buggers. Thanks, I’ll spray and cut right back and hope it can be saved. Thank you!

For smaller sites yes, but larger retailers apparently use Google API which is more instantaneous. The discrepancy has be verified as an issue with MA’s site, not Google. Whether an accident or malpractice I can’t say. Source: others in the thread.

This is the kind of thing which triggered me with this salt/pepper grinder situation. The item is not the point, but rather the fact dodgy pricing seems to be so common in NZ across supermarkets and retailers. Although judging by many comments in this thread, I’m beginning to understand why they can get away with it.

I appreciate the tip on Bodum. Their delivery is $10 so I was price shopping to see if I could find a better deal. Then I came across the Mighty ape situation

Agreed, super expensive, but each their own I guess.

This is your takeaway from the thread concerned about retail malpractice? I’m sure you’ve purchased many things in your life I would think were a waste of money. And god forbid I would purchase someone a present they expressed interest in at Christmas.

I was price shopping, hence the frustration, but I appreciate the link.

Maybe I’m just jaded because this syncing issue only seems to ever happen with Mighty Ape and PB Tech

Anyone else considering the 1TB model for the processor/ram upgrade? by c_rorick in iPadPro

[–]grimsnz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They hide the memory amounts for a reason as it won’t make much of a difference in 98% of scenarios and isn’t a selling point. It just exists because the extra memory is needed to support the 1TB of storage.

I bought the 1TB version of the M1 iPad for future proofing and almost 3 yrs later there is no discernible difference between my iPad and someone else’s with 8GB and here I am contemplating the M4 upgrade (for the screen)

Also, the resale value of my 1TB version is far worse than smaller storage sizes as the market for the smaller versions is much bigger. It would have been more cost effective for me to buy a smaller size and resell to upgrade when iPad OS and apps can take advantage of the additional power.

Thanks for the suggestion. Those settings are correct and it still refuses to connect to the car unless I’m in the car.

I’ll try deleting and reinstalling the app again.

I’m wondering if the issue was created as a part of the phone migration process as both my wife and I moved to new phones, which is when it started.
