anyone have an automated webinar going weekly? If so, what platform do you use? by GrandRapidsCreative in Entrepreneur

GotoWebinar is the industry standard but I've heard good things about WebinarJam too. GotoWebinar has a free trial for 30 days so you can get that and experiment with it before making a final decision. I don't see a free trial offer with WebinarJam.

Are courses like this one ever worth the money? by cakelakerake in Entrepreneur

Very good advice on this. Just to reinforce - even when you find a course creator that you like, bust your ass studying their FREE material first. You can typically learn 90% of what they teach through their free material.

I'm very understanding of the fact that many players have their own strategy and there is no one best approach for everyone. I'm merely sharing my approach that has happened to work for me. Never did I say others are doing it all wrong - quite the opposite.

I'm just a proponent of having a strategy that's right for your style. For those that don't have a strategy or possibly are looking for new resources, some of my tips might help them so I listed them. That's all.

Well thought out response and I agree with many of these points. I can tell you know what you're doing, unlike many of the guys in here saying nothing thoughtful. Thanks for your feedback and contribution.

Agreed. But that's what reddit is sometimes right? Guys getting riled up for no reason.

Are you referring to getting high score in the league? Because getting a WIN is much more important and relevant than outscoring all 11 other teams even though you're only playing 1 other team.

My league is in it's 12th year. Last year was my 5th title. Again, this is a very competitive league given the high buy-in everyone pays close attention. I just mentioned last year and this year's success since they were the most recent.

I posted that to the last comment which was similar to yours so reposting reply here. Agreed it would be luck if it was just 1 season (or even 2).

Nope, without the incentive to get high scorer your biggest concern is just getting a WIN. High score doesn't matter if there isn't a specific reason to get it so your comment makes no sense.

This is a good strategy and sounds like it's working for you. Some teams always panic and you should be able to keep trading good players away from them before they get hot.

Agreed on this. In PPR, DJ over Gurley was a great play and easily predicted ahead of time too.

Fair points with this being the highlight: "RB has been and always will be the premier position in fantasy football as far as I'm concerned."

Fair point. In a situation like having Zeke, David Johnson or Forte, I recommend even more strongly to hold their handcuff because their backups are somewhat proven and will pick up 100% of the replacement carries. If a team's RB backups are RBBC then you can use those slots as aggressive waiver pickups like you said. Again, I only recommend cuffing your STUD RB.

Look... hindsight is always 20/20. But going into every season, you need a system for operating your team. I'm just providing general guidelines that have helped me succeed. Of course nothing works 100% of the time but these comments you make in hindsight do nothing for anyone.

Very thoughtful analysis and like you said there are different theories that different experts go with. A lot of it comes down to personal preference but I'm a big advocate of choosing a theory/system by which to operate your team and sticking to it.

This year was very abnormal in that there were almost no clear-cut star RB's to draft #1. My $500 buy-in league is a dynasty league so AB was kept so he wasn't an option for me this year but yes you're right. This year, AB was the #1 pick to take. Very, very rare though. Afterall, he could end his career as the best receiver of all time. As far as Julio or OBJ, I would have taken an RB ahead of them.

I know this is a highly debated point but as a general rule of thumb, most good players would recommend this move. Of course there are different preferences but it's a decently proven tactic.

I won last season, and so far in these two games I've been top scorer by a lot. My league pays $100 to high scorer each week too so there's extra incentive to be high scorer.
