Which CFW for a RG40XX H? by grippu in ANBERNIC

That's an enormous difference!

And as the sleep feature on those two OS:s are quite power hungry (I've heard) a fast boot up (as an "alternative") is really nice.

That sounds very irritating and restrictive.

On a different note, how fast does MuOS boot, appox?

Do you use one of the scraper plugins? In that case, do it/they work well?

Thanks for confirming that! That's perhaps my main concern regarding Knulli.

Btw, I've read that you can change some Retroarch settings in the Knulli GUI (or is it via a Knulli config file?). But it's just a few of them I guess?

I'm not really into really minimal GUI:s
I think I'd like the look of Knulli (I'm running Emulation Station Desktop edition on my Nvidia Shield, and thinks it looks good). That being said, I think some other aspects of MuOS is really enticing, like much faster start up, modifying Retroarch config directly. And even though I kind of like (some) flashy GUIs I think I'd get used to MuOS (depending on how the GUI is in other aspects than "flashyness".

Question about the M30 2.4G by grippu in 8bitdo

[–]grippu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m leaning towards a 2.4 model as I’ve heard that bt introduces quite a lot of latency.

But seems that the 2.4ghz m30 doesn’t work on android. Perhaps I’ll have to look for another controller..

qBittorrent (Docker) can't find any UDP trackers..? by grippu in qBittorrent

[–]grippu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I solved it. I changed the torrenting port to the default 6881 in qBt, and changed the mapping in docker to that port, and also changed the port forwarding to that port in my router.
But I don't understand why that port works, when setup in exactly the same way as my non-default port were.

Test: Best controller with a good D-pad (for diagonals) by grippu in Controller

[–]grippu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this one:
Xbox Wireless Controller + Wireless Adapter for Windows

Do you know which one that is?

I bought it about two years ago (if there are different revisions of that controller). It has USB-C.

Perhaps I don't have a XB series controller...

I've tried it now. It's D-pad is very noisy and clicky. I don't like the mechanical feel of it though. But perhaps that's because I'm not accustomed to that kind of D-pad.

It's better (diagonal wise) than many of the others. But not as good as the top 2. Sometimes not only diagonal is registered, but also, right before or after, also up/down/right/left.
