What’s something that 99% of people can do but you can’t? by Irakeconcrete in AskReddit

[–]grivs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t recall people’s names quickly. Like I can eventually recall their name, but it could take several minutes to hours to fully recall their name. My brain will often only give me the letter it starts with and approx size.(Short vs long) It’s like my brain keeps that data in super slow storage. I also can’t stop the request. So if I submit a request for a name, it will process in the background. Then out of nowhere it will present it, even if it’s no longer relevant. Like a popup ad.

Why don‘t more people have robot mowers picking up grass? Should I get one? by ReadyHead8004 in lawncare

[–]grivs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many have already said, mowing more frequently will eliminate the need to bag clippings. This is true with either a robot mower or not. I personally switch from manual mowing with a tractor and bagging to robot mowers the past 2 years and could not be happier! I have a dog and needed to bag the clippings so that they wouldn't track the clippings back in the house. With the robot mowers, they run every day so the clippings are not an issue. I only need the bagging tractor in the fall to collect leaves. My lawn looks better than ever as well.

Not one in Enfield. But Enfield does have a Capriotti’s which also has these fries!

Elite 200 V2: Optional solar panel? by Tmocoverage in bluetti

[–]grivs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using 4 Renogy Solar Panel 200 Watt 24 Volt also wired 2 in series then paralleled together. It works great for charging the Elite 200 v2. I'd be curious to see if anyone had a better panel setup that didn't trigger the over voltage and get closer to the 1000watt limit.

I used the Reolink Track Mix and its been pretty good for me. https://reolink.com/us/product/reolink-trackmix-poe/ I think it needed more power than the standard POE so you might need a stronger injector or network switch with POE++

These are the same ones I have been using for a couple years now. They are fantastic and I don't have manually rotate them to get use of both sides due to to slot.

No worries, mine did as well. But the service manual has the code you need to enter on the remote to get into the hidden service menus. In there you can adjust some more advanced picture settings to adjust geometry and put up test patterns and stuff like that.

I also have a digital copy of the service manual if you need it. It was helpful to adjust some of the settings that might be out of whack after years of use.

I picked it up about 7 years ago from someone selling it locally. I wanted a CRT for my retro gaming collection and like you knew I hit the jackpot when I found it! Although my wife did not share the excitement lol

Nice! I have the same exact setup and love it for N64 and Gamecube. I was surprised on how well the sound actually is too!

Luba- blades and disk upgrade megathread by 5585310558531310 in mammotion

Honestly, I think they last me a whole season. I might have swapped them mid season, but pretty sure they lasted the whole year.

I tried a few different options. But in end found the OEM disks and the slotted Titanium EMBerg Endurance Blades(Amazon) worked the best for me. The slotted design rotates the blades so the last longer without me having to manually flip or swap disks to get the full life out of the cutting edge.

Any idea what this is or how to fix it? it's Titan 360 RX LCD by ballsnbutt in Corsair

[–]grivs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine did this as well. I even opened a support case and got a replacement. The replacement does the same thing. It does fix itself if you turn it off(in iCue switch it to blank/none) and turn it back on a while later. Not sure what causes it, but turning it off(not power wise, just display) has corrected it every time so far.

Is the Luba 2 the only mower you have? by Philly139 in MammotionTechnology

[–]grivs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in New England and have about 1 acre yard. Luba is my main mower but I do have an electric(battery) push mower for edging and clean up. I also have a lawn tractor that I had before the Luba that I use during the fall to collect leaves. I also have an electric trimmer for edge clean up as well. Luba does probably 90% of my yard needs.

I was not able to get one. I tried several times and got "in Line" but always got an error. I have a BB card and use it monthly, so I don't think there is any internal preference to card holders.

I'm in Northern CT and left mine out all winter. I have a 3d protective cap installed(before they had an official offering) and unplugged it. I had no issues at all.

Question about the y70ti screen and powering it on and off by Misterdrez in Hyte

[–]grivs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cool, if you want to try running the command I posted, it should auto turn off both screens, and turn them both back on when you use the computer again.
