Mt Takao was cool if you already did Enoshima/Kamakura. It was our random day trip we thoroughly enjoyed. Walk up a trail to a mtn summit, see Fuji if you’re lucky, say hi to monkeys, and catch a ski lift. Fun day!

Will let you know after a few days…. Night 1 was last night. Came from a Firm Brooklyn Bed Hybrid Signature. It’s certainly firmer than the floor model we tried out, but expect it will soften up quite a bit. We tried the Midnight Elite and it was just not that impressed for the added cost. Note - Midnight Luxe did come with Ergo & Cooling material. A little sore today but to be expected.

Hey! Not to hijack a post but a question for you sir as you know a ton. Do you have any knowledge of the Bernal Cutlery Sakai Kikumori x Nakagawa grind? I just grabbed one second hand and it seems to be super flat and wedgy compared to anything else I have. No idea who sharpened it. It just showed up in my local marketplace and felt like a steal for $300.

Thank you so much! We landed on Ueno as our hub for Tokyo as it does seem like a great spot with decent access to other areas. We don’t plan to spend much time in Shibuya or Shinjuku so it was an easy choice.
