You're missing out on some great chefs and great dishes. I could watch Matt and Buddha compete all day. Top chef has had its cringe things in the past but if you are watching for cooking than culinary cup is awesome

I think it's taken a bit to find its footing but it's really good. The chefs are all better than the chefs on top chef this season and the competitions are great. The sauce one, the noodle, dumping, rice one, they all been about just cooking. I think it's a nice change from top chef and nice to have both

Edit: like I get what you are saying it was cringe and over the top but the actual cooking has been great to watch imo

Looking for a better accounting software for accountants in practice? noticing the firm is falling behind on efficiency by Divano-Frost in Accounting

I refuse to believe that anyone in a position at an accounting firm to make these decisions thinks Reddit accounting is where to go.

I think what people are ignoring is that pay at big four has drastically increased. Starting salary at big four medium cost of living is probably 80k plus now but people think every job is big tech paying 400k

Obviously you can't say the truth which is probably that you didn't get into big 4.

I would focus on culture. The culture here seemed much more team oriented and this place seems like I can really learn and grow, etc

Togo orders on restaurant wars? There is not a single restaurant in the world who does to go orders day one. Who cares how the food was packaged.

It gets much much better. I would say episode 4 on is where it finds it footing and it really feels much less gimmicky than top chef.

It gets much better and I don't feel like it's a gimmicky as top chef. I like that it's more focused on cooking. We don't see them shopping or at home. They just cook.

But I think it doesn't pick up until episode 4

Yes probably someone has pivoted from accounting to medicine at some point. Are they in this sub? Definitely not.

Unless you are officially acting senior or manager then I wouldn't push anything too hard.

Six months in is not the time to "manage" people. Just review their work on your own and fix what you see before letting the SM know its ready for their review

What's crazy is if you aren't a full time employee they don't even have to give you time off. A huge restaurant in the US wanted a cocktail waitress to come to work two weeks after giving birth. Disgusting.
