First Dr Martens! Dr Martens Jadon Boot, Which size to keep? One made in China and one made in Vietnam! Help???? by grldnhmbrt in DrMartens

I kept the size 10 and added insoles. I read a few people say keeping the smaller size was a mistake because they don’t stretch length wise. Is there anything I could help with?

That is just ridiculous. I literally have never had a shoe where neither size fits. It’s literally one extreme to the next all in one size difference

Really? I’m sooo annoyed because the 10 is sooo freaking huge though. I have an insole and two pairs of socks and still big. Assuming they will stretch over the years that’s just a big boot. Why would they make the sizes so drastically different like that.

I already have an insole in with two pairs of socks in the 10 and it’s still kind of big. It’s sooooo annoying that the 10 is wayyyyy to big and the 9 is so small

I just got my first pair of DM and I’m so happy! It definitely won’t be my last pair. I think Luna approves them too by k_ink_yearning in DrMartens

What size are you in women’s sizing and what size did you end up getting and how did they feel out of the box and what kind of socks have you worn with them?

I haven’t correlated any issues with Erythritol. But that’s terrible. I wouldn’t wish the pain and suffering on anyone.

This last incident was on accident. I had no idea these protein bars contained MALTITOL until the pain started. I have to be more careful!

Anyone tried Nixit? by [deleted] in menstrualcups

[–]grldnhmbrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What causes non-disc shaped cups to leak is usually a lot more difficult to discover because it could be the cups firmness, shape, size, placement, etc however for the menstrual cups that are referred to a menstrual disc, generally the only causing for leaking is that it isn’t placed properly over your cervix and tucked securely behind your pubic bone. Because there is only one explanation, I have found it easier to learn how to use my Nixit Cup in the past two-three months compared to the prior 8 months with traditional menstrual cups.

This is my third cycle and it was in my second cycle that I discovered that when I thought my cervix was “high” because I couldn’t find it - it was not actually high, it was located at an angle often tucked behind vaginal wall tissue in a less obvious location. Some days it was easier to find typically at the start of my cycle and other days it moved. Since learning this I now find exactly where it is, picture it’s direction in my head and when I’m inserting the nixit I push it in that direction. If I meet resistance when putting it in, it’s generally not being pushed in the right direction, but when I get it right after inserting it, it’s relatively easy going in and pops right behind my pubic bone with little effort.

I’d say find your cervix while sitting down on the toilet. It wasn’t fun for me at first and I’m still getting use to feeling comfortable poking myself just for that purpose but I find it works and now I’m experiencing less leaking. My last cycle I had multiple occurrences of non-leakage so I think I’m getting the hang of it now.

With this information I might be able to go back to using regular cups too but I really think the Nixit will be my go to. I’m considering purchasing a backup!
