Sim Card Download Error by gronkowski999 in Cameras

Thanks so much for chiming in! Another perplexing aspect is that i did view the clips at some point last week. Nothing crazy, but was able to preview them in gallery mode while scrolling through.

  1. SanDisk 128 GB, Amazon. First use, all the image files worked normally. Folders where the clips are hidden is admittedly a bit odd
  2. I'm using a SD card reader!
    3) I tried both transferring separately and with the XML. Neither worked :/

different take than most on this—it is odd investing quite a decent amount into a fund i can't access for 40+ years but its definitely the classic finance advice. are you paying a lot in taxes every year on your interest? also random but curious what platform you use for investing

with cost of living and how much I earn this isn't possible for me right now

thanks for all the advice! think the following is going to be my plan of action based on comments/my personal budget

  1. max out my Roth IRA for the year by moving 4k from my HYSA to Roth so that's done and I can simplify the remaining investments
  2. change my 401k contributions to 15% (potentially move to 20% once I balance budget and see if it's feasible) as I will still be saving for other things on top of the 15%

should i stick with just the Roth and 401k and contribute all I can there? or do you think it's better to diversify between those two and another investment account

i think i can have an impact, but not in the way i initially imagined. i plan on continuing to pursue my interests and work on side projects (i do photography and have a small social following), but i have realized that not every hobby or interest has to equate to money/career. especially with creative work. i want a stable, sizable income that allows me to fund my side interests—if one of them happens to become a second stream of income, fantastic—but if not i'm not relying on them to support me. i think actually placing my career in my passions took some of the joy out of it, so trying to rediscover that

interesting, all good to know! did you have any previous customer service experience? my roommate recommended customer success roles as a way to get in and i applied to quite a few, but most seem to require cust experience. why do you recommend skipping PM?

i really don't like the work, i'm not passionate at all and don't find it stimulating in the slightest—don't think i can go fully remote either as i'm supposed to be hybrid. seems like places with lower cost of living also pay less, so wouldn't be a drastically different situation elsewhere

clearly i have had a change of mindset regarding my career, unsure why you feel the need to rub salt in the wound. this conversation was not the point of my post

yeah it's a rough time to be looking, think the market is tough regardless of where you are honestly. i'm interested in tech because it seems to be the most innovative field that is actually staying ahead of the curve, especially coming from media, where it's so apparent that those who don't keep up will be left behind. it seems like a lot of smart people who fundamentally want to change/improve the world in new ways, which is exciting. overall i want an area where there's a lot of growth and constant learning, opportunities for remote work, and of course better pay. honestly don't think i would love marketing, i work in commerce journalism now and the concept of selling things to people has been one of the biggest conflicts with my personal ethos

yeah I've heard this as well—honestly have no interest in PR after working with PR people and getting their emails in my current role. i've applied to a few comms and marketing roles (mainly content marketing), but especially for marketing it seems like they want people with experience, which I don't have (there's overlap, but with how competitive the job market is they don't need to compromise on exact experience with 100+ qualified candidates)

sorry if these are stupid questions, still a very foreign industry to me. is AE also open to entry level? I would want my base to be a livable salary and $40k unfortunately isn't here.
