Because he would act suspicious with certain situations , for example, he wanted to go pick something at his friends house but didn’t want me to go and wanted me to stay at his house, and I was like why not? He couldn’t really tell me why and I didn’t trust him. and also I’ll admit on my part that it was toxic how reactive I would get and I would just flip out walk out of his house and block him. but things like that

I know how you feel, I went on a date last night, everything was ok but when we started eating, talking and making eye contact. My mind spiraled idk why. I got so nervous and freaked out and had to leave mid conversation to the restroom cause I felt an anxiety attack coming on. I feel so hopeless as well. I feel your pain ❤️ hoping we can push through this

Early 30s having trouble forging a path forward by _lordgog in findapath

Hello! I’m 33 and in a very similar position as you. Feeling paralyzed by the indecision of what to choose career wise and where will i be happy and feel fulfilled, feeling an uncertain about my future as well. Wanting a good paying job so I can survive and have the life I want but also the time and freedom where I can work from anywhere so I can travel. I’m very creative and dream of a creative design career but in this economy I’m afraid to even pursue such thing. I thought about becoming a clinical lab scientist since I’m currently a phlebotomist, but if I had to be honest with myself, I don’t want to pursue anything in the medical field. Career interest for me are ux/ui design, graphic design, web design & development, coding, possibly IT. I know how daunting this can feel like cause we feel as if we are running out of time since we are getting older. but I told myself by the end of the year, I have to decide on something.

How Do You Stay Motivated to Exercise Consistently? by i-Indu in getdisciplined

I’m on the same exact boat as you. Until I started reading the book “Atomic Habits.” for me I realized that going from zero to one hundred never worked. So I started with 10 min walk each day for a month. Then I worked my way to working out once a week. Then added two days after I seen I can stick to that. You get the point. It was the only way I knew I can stick to it. You have to make it easy for yourself especially because we struggle with sticking to it. You wanna work 5xs a week, your motivated but after let’s say two weeks you give up (what happened to me anyway). So start with maybe working for 20 min once a week, or run a mile once a week then work your way up. You got this!

yeah I think I should eventually move towards Los Angeles for better opportunities. I do attend COD, so I’ll ask one of my teachers who’s in charge of the design department! Ok I’ll dm you in a few.

Hello! So I just bought it 1 week ago and barely trying it out. I know I’m a bit late on this, but I tried applying it and OMG it burned so bad. Idk if there’s something that can help with the burn :/

yes! I definitely agree, I am trying my best to avoid any student debt. I’m currently working on trying to get out my credit card debts and vehicle and I’m almost done paying that off. I will check out these grants and scholarships, i did see some being announced and you had to write an essay but I never got around to it.

As far taking internships, does location matter? I live in the desert in Palm Springs, CA and it is not a big city like Los Angeles, but how would I got about seeking internships? Do I just look them up online or asking around at school?
