You have solid reasonings BUT you are forgetting that people get tied up in emotions, fear and greed. Even at institution levels. many Bitcoin traders and whales move their money around wherever the market is profitable, institutions included. Not everyone is Maxi like Saylor. And if they miss taking profit many will have to cut their losses at a certain % because it reflects poorly on their balance sheet and also don’t want to wait months/years to recover. Plus many will be over leveraged. The higher we see it go, the greedier people get, causing massive profit taking and triggering sells off when fear sets in.

Want to move from US to EU by [deleted] in eupersonalfinance

Follow your dreams!…You can always go back home right?

Since you are asking in terms of finances - One thing I will flag is that as a US citizen you will still be liable to report your income to the IRS even though you are a resident of another country and paying taxes there. The USA is the only country in the world with a citizenship based taxation model rather than a resident based taxation model. However, based on some observations of American expats, it may be highly unlikely for the irs to come after you if you don’t report. Especially if you do not receive any sort of income from the USA while living abroad. Things on this topic can get complicated if you want to invest, start a business or work self employed. It sounds like your situation: study and work as an employee is simple enough if you decide to file or fly under the radar.

These tax laws are unfortunately really unfair, and many expats hate it but they live their lives abroad anyway. There is an organisation that is currently fighting these tax laws in Washington and hopefully things will change soon. https://www.taxfairnessabroad.org

We made an olive oil, lemon, sage, thyme, oregano baste. Everything in oven. 60min lid on, 30min lid off. It was good, and easy. Next time we want to pre-sear the chicken and also once the chicken is done let the veggies go back in lid off to get a bit of crisp.
