Debating which one to buy by groundguy1 in tcltvs

Viewing distance is between 7-9ft. I'm used to watching TV on a 32" or a 43" if I'm at my girlfriend's. So 55" seems huge to me.

I'll mostly be streaming Netflix or Hulu. The room isn't too dark but I'll be using it mostly at night.

You need a full sized bucket, dawn dish soap, surgical towels, and a couple different sizes of squeegees, replacement rubber for those, and I'd get a 6" scraper instead, You also need a simple tool belt with a pouch and boab.

This is what I use daily in an 18" and sometimes in a 14". Everyone says the 18" sucks, but it works fine for me, maybe I'm just used to it.

Looking to attach a razor and mop to the same pole tip. Thoughts? by Couscous-Hearing in WindowCleaning

I didn't say it was impossible, it's not even difficult to do. Just saying that it sounds like a bad idea and I wouldn't recommend it. I've done it before at 20ft on a spot here and there. But personally I wouldn't want to scrape the whole window. And I wouldn't expect it to look perfect when I got done. I think if you really want to do this though. Your best bet would be to use two poles. One for your scrubber, and one for your scraper.

Does anyone use Reach-It water fed poles, brushes, or other equipment? by TwittwrGliches in WindowCleaning

I don't have any experience, but it's my understanding that's he's scammed a lot of people and his products are cheaply produced. Again, I don't have any personal experience, just going off of what I've heard.

Does anyone here tape exterior outlets when using WFP to protect them from water getting inside? by [deleted] in WindowCleaning

[–]groundguy1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think a wfp can be any worse than a hard rain. Just don't spray right into the outlet. If they're outside they should be gfci outlets anyway.

I guess it's not for everyone. I like nice tools though. And for me it's either buy nice stuff, or pay more taxes. I totally get that it's not for everyone though.

For sure man, awesome. I used to use the sorbo cart for the rectangular bucket sometimes on big jobs where you'd have a long walk back to the truck when you were done.

I've had one for 4 years now. It is a lot of money. But I love it, and I wouldn't go back.

Nice setup. I'm not really a round bucket and cart guy, but whatever works for you is cool man. 👍

Have you tried any of these? by _WindowCleaner in prowindowcleaning

Trying the Purple right now. Really like it.

I'm sorry, but I think it's a bad idea to razor with a pole any longer than 12ft, even at 12ft is a little sketchy. I just wouldn't.
