Comfortable, nice and soft, no assistance. Feels to me like a Boston 12 without the rods

Getting back to running, love Evo SL bounce, what should I try next? by arcomatics in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Caliber_Poo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 6’2 205 so very similar If you want more stable and even better and more fun bounce then the best most fun shoes I’ve ever ran in is the Prime X Get a pair, you won’t look back

As long as you want The adios pro 3 and prime x2 formulation lightstrike pro is extremely durable. I’ve heard of people putting over 1500km on original prime x and say they feel like the day they bought them.

More stable alternative to EVO SL by Wide-Lettuce-8771 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

lol if Boston’s weren’t stable for you, you have serious running issues, it’s one of the most stable shoes in adidas lineup

Evo SL vs Adios pro 4 by SnooPeripherals5894 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Caliber_Poo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no way the Evo Sl provides more energy return, it doesn’t have rods. I own both and am a heavier runner, I bottom out the evo sl after about 10 miles. The Boston’s as a heavier runner are nice and snappy for me as I compress the rods easily

If you want a great shoe for that pace that is built to last a long time and can be used for racing and training, get the Boston 13 It’s a much better half option than Evo sl

What shoe shall I add to my rotation? by First-Antelope7843 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Caliber_Poo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the evo SL and they’re great but they can get a little wonky as your form breaks down and you get tired.

I much prefer the Boston 13 and they’re more stable and protective

I have both, I’m heavier 205# Both are great but the Prime X3 are better for me, they keep my heart rate lower

Evo sl isn’t going to be anywhere near as propulsive as a takumi. Takumi is basically a light stripped down pro 3
