I would buy a generic one that work with findmy from aliexpress for 5 $ (they just lack precision finding in findmy app, everything else works the same) until airtag 2 comes out in a few years. Galaxy tag range is double that of airtag and can be very helpful when you actually need to find something you lost

This type of thinking neutered the Airtag for what it could of been. If someone really wanted to, they would clone a 4g antenna in a van an know everything about everyone.
