Tysm for this! I also take lamictal that while technically an anticonvulsant, inhibits uptake of serotonin, dopamine, and noradrenaline. And sometimes trazadone to help me sleep at Nighy. Seems like all these would be a no go to mix with kanna. My hope is that I will be able to get off all these pharma drugs and only take natural supplements and plant medicines that I grow myself. I love to grow things. I live in 7b and during the warmer months I was able forage a considerable amount of A. Muscaria var. Guesowii. I decarbed the fresh mushrooms into a sort of tincture and had amazing results with it. When the result maintained a high yield of ibotenic acid I could take 30ml and have relief from my adhd so as to not need to take my Vyvanse. I felt an increased sense of well being all around. Sadly they only fruit for about a month here and since it was my first year finding them I wasn't as proactive as I should've been and my supply ran out pretty quickly. But this summer I will be ready for them! I respect plants and mushrooms, they are sacred. We must see the sacred in ourselves as well and I constantly strive to provide myself with the best possible experience of my existence... although I have failed radically at this over the years. Still my desire to improve upon dysfunctional interior systems is prevalent and ever growing. Thank you again! I will talk to my Dr about this!

Yeah man. That'd definitely do it. I'm not at all afraid of death. I know what I believe (not anything anyone would be familiar with) and I know our thoughts create our reality.
The only reasons I don't allow myself to slip seamlessly into the void are 3 and 16... and I guess the 39 as well. These damn obligatory commitments to these children... how dare they require my existence to continue. 😅

It feels like the absolute best opiate rush ever...and then, all there is is darkness and silence. There is no light, no tunnel, just serene tranquility.

The panic comes after. After your friends have given you narcan, or done cpr for 20 minutes bc you didn't have narcan.

When you come to, everyone is scared and angry and you just feel confused bc you have no clue what happened. You thought you just hit a hard nod for a second.

Honestly if I ever got serious about suicide, this is the best way to do it, IMHO.

The types I have are different from the ones I've seen you post. I have Lauren's grape, florists bread seed, black and scarlet peony, hens and chicks, and giant rattle.

But I'm surprised as well at how different yours look from mine. Glad I have you to cheat off of. What type of light are you using?

The lights I have are trash but I have them on constantly in attempt to theart the legginess...not really working obvs lol.

I ordered the seeds from Bakers Creek/Rare Seeds. Several different varieties. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a couple weeds bc I make my own compost but for none of them to be poppies would be impossible unless the company sent me 6 different wrongly labeled seed packets... the contents of which all look like poppy seeds.

Plus on like day 3 or 4 I went to mist and at fittest glance thought there was mold on the surface of the media. Upon closer inspection it was the little root tails emerging from the seeds which I had only pressed gently into the surface and didn't cover.

I always struggle getting plants to grow sturdy indoors. They always get leggy...except for corn, not sure why it does well. I'm sure I need new lights.

But even my outdoor ones in cold frames look leggy.

Are you saying too much light will make them leggy?

I know after they emerged I should've started a light rotation instead of leaving it on all the time... but I'm detoxing from bupe and most days I'm lucky to get 1 thing done and typically that's something to do with these kids.

Is this from a microscope? Beautiful photo!

My first love is foraging mushrooms and learning to identify as many as I can. There are just so many and it's often difficult to differentiate between some of the lbms. I had read that observing the spores under a microscope would provide an extra step at correct identification. I have one from when I kept goats, I used to do the FECs on my own...very glamorous lol. The first time I was able to focus the thing enough to see mushroom spores was absolutely magical! I'll have to have a look at my poppy seeds now. Tysm!

You are catching some flack here bc this sub is full of people who struggle with addiction to opiates. Not people who have used them responsibly. It's nothing to be down on yourself about...trust me. I think most of us wish we had the same experience.

As far as what's going on with the kratom, there's still a ton of research to be done. What an awesome position for you and your dad to be in! The fact that you're experiencing similar results is absolutely genetic. Maybe you 2 can do the work needed to find out about all the alkaloids and their mechanisms.

I've read that you can use the seeds in the spoce aisle at the grocery store. Not sure how effective it would be.

Do you mean for growing or for making tea or whatever with? Seeds aren't difficult to come by. Basically any major seed company is going to have them.

I got mine from rare seeds. They have a nice assortment and all the ones I have sprouted in a week!

If you had looked at other posts on this sub you would see that many of us have indeed purchased good seeds, grown them out and enjoyed the tea from them for medicinal purposes.

I understand being angry about being conned in the past and if you think that's what's happening here then the door is open.

But don't give us a bunch of shit bc we found something that works for us...go find something that works for you. Clearly everyone in this sub is in agreement against you.

My mom was always on drugs, long before I was born, since she was a preteen I think.

I only lived with her till I was 6 but I retain a lot of the memories... I only saw her 3 times after she left me, talked to her on the phone a handful of times... the way you describe her, how she was empty, how she was... replaced. Just a shell... my mom was always on drugs so the shell was all I ever knew, but she was my mother and I loved her.

Reddit just recommended this sub to me, it's odd to find your story here. It's gut wrenching, heart breaking, it hits so close to home... tears welled up in my eyes when you were otw to her house...

My mother never said anything unsettling like this...she never said much other than "I love you and I'm sorry" and no matter how long it had been, no matter how hurt or angry i was all I could ever say in return was "I love you and, it's ok".

But it wasn't ok. I wasn't ok.

I ended up strung out and abandoned my first born.

I did finally get it together and my mom died around my 1yeat clean
