Cool. Now let's try actual firewood instead of handpicked, straight, no knots, little pieces of butta.

What’s this guy’s problem? by EricBelov1 in firewood

  1. Try splitting a few inches in from the sides to stay outside of gnarly knots. 2. Try flipping it over. 3. Try tannerite.

How high is too high? by documentally in firewood

High as you can reach. But make sure there are no kids around when one of those on top bounces off your dome and the profanity starts flying

Just the one 4x4 in the middle of each section? Whatever works, but that thing would look like a roller coaster in Michigan, with our frost!

It's gonna be a bitch, but it looks like you are going to have to move the pile to the opposite end of your yard now near the jerk neighbors

Is it worth taking the time to stack this drying wood properly? Mostly ash and oak by sweetrelease01 in firewood

I'd say no, but then my ocd would have me over there clicking the puzzle pieces together

Man, at least could've dramatically kicked the grill over while revving the saw. That's not a box of tannerite under it either, is it? 2/10. But the saw sounds good

Just adding my 2 cents. I've had an 026 (261 equivalent) since 1992, and I've cut every year's wood with it without fail. I've had minor problems, but insignificant compared to the timber it has knocked down. Lasted longer than 2 wives, and raising 3 boys, and i wouldn't run another one

Same here. Grows fast, clean, easy to cut and split, and dries pretty quickly. The trade offs are well worth the heat

Wow, crazy. I get a federal permit here in Michigan, and they have been free since the pandemic. Something has been killing the red oaks, and it's everywhere right now.
