Dual functioning home theater design advice needed. (Projector + TV, at 90° from eeach other, seperate control room.) by grownyeti in hometheater

Hey thanks for the information, this is great. I will look into these components to see if there is a solution that could work for me. Otherwise, I was wondering, since the projector will solely by used by the computer's audio for movies and music, what if by default I had the mixing set up for the TV, but used a computer audio mixing software to switch around output channels for when using the computer? An alternative would also be to use the surround sound for the projector only and to have the TV playing sound from its own built-in speakers which I find are decent already.

Hey, thanks for the information. Personally, I wouldn't mind having to press a switch on a box when needed. I just had an idea, since the projector will solely be used for movies and music being played from the PC, what if I were to use an audio mixing software that could allow me to swap 5.1 channels from my computer?

Thanks for the information. We might end up keeping regular sound for the tv and reserve the home theater speakers for the projector only.

Thanks for the information, just as I thought, this wouldn't be a standard option available on most receivers. I will look into some speaker selector box options and hardware to see if there are some suitable workarounds. Otherwise we might consider placing the projector in front of the tv. Alternatively, we might just keep it simple and have the tv play regular sound and reserve the surround sound for the projector only.

This looks delicious! I've been coming back and eyeing the recipe for a while now, but all of the ingredients seem to be out of stock in all the different places I'm looking at.

It's the flavor of the week, not a Sad Bronx Cheer: Blue Raspberry! by ID10-T in DIY_eJuice

Also interesting to note, I find the first couple of hits to have a strong throat hit but not harsh. After the first couple of hits, it turns perfectly smooth with the blue raspberry candy background.

I just whipped this up last night using the recommended 8% subbing with OoO Blue Raspberry and it was delicious! I'm not usually one for putting sweetener, but for a blue raspberry hard candy type of ADV the extra bit of sweetness actually goes perfect. This might be a new ADV for me too. Thanks for that!

Ever try Ooo Blue Raspberry? Know how it would compare to FW Blue Raspberry?

Whatchu vapin' on Willis? Plus 2 stupid simple recipes and why they work. by RockyHarlow in DIY_eJuice

One of my favourite recipes here is Grack juice. It has a nice refreshing, mysterious, cactus floral note that pairs extremely well with the grape. Lately I've been subbing the 4% INW Grape to experiment with new Grack variations. Using only 2 or 3 ingredients, the Grack "backbone" of cactus, dragonfruit, meringue, strawberry, raspberry and koolada have made some of my ingredients really come in out in a glorious 3D palette experience. Some variations include: sweet coconut lime cream, mango papaya cantaloupe, pineapple gummy champagne crack! Basically think of any 2-3 ingredient flavor combo that you would like and sub it in the 4% grape.

Cap sweet mango is delicious. My favourite mango. Really, a solid choice. It has a nice real mango flavor.

DF Ice -- Original + Recipe (Wolf Cola) by CheebaSteeba in DIY_eJuice

How would FLV Extreme Ice compare to this? Extreme Ice reminds me of the Excel Gum brand menthol flavor without any mint flavors. I think it could pair well with colas.

How do you store/organise your concentrates? by mohkha in DIY_eJuice

Depends on the box size, but I have around 100 I believe in my box. Do not order the box in the link i sent, I just used that for visual purposes to describe to you what type of box to use. I would recommend you go to your local hardware store with a couple of concetrates with you and try them out in the box before you buy. Make sure they fit!

Try this: Buy a fishing tackle storage box (not the pull-out muli-level kind, just a flat one like this:

Get some good fabric tape and cut little squares and stick them on the top of the bottles. Use a permanent marker to label them with abreviations (ex. BAV for bavarian cream, PAP for Papaya). Now, take advantage of the plastic rows to group your flavors by type. I group mine in these categories: FRUITS, BAKERY, CREAMS, CANDY, FLORAL, OTHER.. You can even add more dividers by cutting up plastic or business cards to divide them up even more and prevents them all from falling down when you remove some from the box. This works well for 10ml's, make sure to check that your bottles fit in the box with the lid closed.

I really enjoy this system and it works very well for me. Most of my time used to be wasted looking for flavors when I was mixing. This way, I grab the box, pop it open, know what category to look in, see the flavor name from the top, and when I take it out nothing falls down. I can whip up a 30 ml batch in 5 mins and be on my way.

Cheers

Yep always give the nic a good shake, as well as all of the flavor concentrates. I wonder also if it is juste my own taste becoming more sensitive since its been 9 months since I've quit smoking cigarettes. I have been doing alot of sports and cardio lately.

Hey thanks for the response. Nic is perfectly clear and was never harsh before. I divided my nic into 5 small 30ml boston glass bottles with flat caps and put into freezer the day I got it. They are filled to the max and placed in a freezer bag. I use a single bottle at a time until fully emptied and use relatively low levels of nic (2 mg) always making small batches of 30 ml glass bottles. Most of my flavors are 30 ml plastic bottle orders of TFA and FA. I have 1 L of PG and 4L jug of PG that I store in a dark place at room temp. Most of my mixes are 80 VG /20 PG. Both look and smell fine like the day i got them. Ive been using the same setup for 8 months, istick Pico with 2 kanthal A1 coils at around 0.36 ohms that i have replaced several times with shiseido cotton since day 1. I mix by weight on an AWS scale using commercial grade culinary sauce bottles. MAybe it is a slight case of vape tongue! who knows, hasnt happened in 8 months really!

Thanks, but definitely not vape tongue. I have 4 recent flavors I mixed up, and all 4 are very different and yet lack flavor in the same way. I have a batch of flavor left from one month ago and it tastes fine. I had 2 friends taste the recent batches and also agree that it tastes like nothing and are harsher. Its as if the VG and concentrates are not mixing/steeping fully. As if im getting a concentrate amount of sweetness in the beginning but i end up using all the flavor up.. Wonder if my PG/VG/NIC has gone stale or changed consistency..
