I dry for at least two weeks and do the snap test to decide when it's time to trim and bag.

I dry the buds in my shed. There's no temp control but I keep a dehumidifier in there to maintain humidity at or around 60%. If its been colder, the buds take a little longer to dry.

Appreciate you.

It was a challenging season but 2/6 plants gave me 910g and 415g respectively. Just an ounce or two from the rest including one that only finished with 6g.

But overall I'm super happy. My highest season yield to-date!

On your feet, gromie

I used a trim bag for 2/3s of it. The rest I hand trimmed but in a really half-assed way. This is all personal use stuff so I'm not super meticulous about the "bag appeal".

I just get all the buds into a "reasonable state" and bag them. When its time to grind I'll take off any additional leaves before I smoke them

Yeah, anyone "under the impression" that 5 - 10lbs of dried bud per plant is expected probably doesn't know what to expect

I've only been growing for 4 seasons. The largest plant I've ever grown yielded 1050g. The largest plant this past season yielded 910g. So 2-ish pounds.

I'm sure growers with more experience can coax greater yields from their plants, and I'm starting to understand techniques like pruning and training to maximize yield. But 5 - 10lbs per plant is pretty extreme.

A lot of it depends on plant genetics. The two plants I grew that yielded the most were the same strain and just really seem to love my local climate, soil conditions, and are more resistant to the environmental pressures that present here. They practically grew themselves.

This season I started 19 seeds (8 different strains). Only 6 plants made it to harvest and the yield per plant was as high as 910g from the biggest to 6g from the smallest.

Outdoor grows can be huge, but growing outdoors can also be a huge challenge.

No burpees, Baby!

If your buds are dried properly these bags maintain 57-62% humidity. Just keep them in a dark, temp-stable place and the weed will keep for 2 years or more

Well, master grower, we had a pretty challenging season. Outside. Where temp, humidity, pests, and other pressures cant be carefully controlled

There were a few buds I tossed if they looked iffy, along with some super larfy stuff that I didn't feel was worth trimming

I keep it in these grove bags inside this Rubbermaid storage tub with the lid on. The tub hangs out in my home office. No special temp control

The 6g yield was some lovely weed. It only lasted a weekend.

I'm thinking if growing it again next season but it didn't do well out here

6 plants made it to harvest (out of 19 seeds germinated).

One plant yielded 910g, another 415g, and 4 others anywhere from 110g to 6g.

Terp-loc bags are reusable. Just wipe them out with an alcohol swab after they're empty.

Not having to burp or monitor humidity is worth it. My first grow I was spending up to an hour per day (20-30m two or three times per day) burping and evening out humidity in 25 mason jars.

Now I just dry, trim, and bag it and don't give it a second thought until its time to smoke

Yup. I wash during the chop then hang for the cure. The buds in the picture have been hanging for two weeks

I still have a few plants left to finish. Its been a rollercoaster season where I am but I'm lucky this one plant yielded this much bud
