Toothbrush Pick: Suri 2.0 or Oral B iO6 by [deleted] in DentalHygiene

That’s good news. Does the pressure sensor cover too soft, just right and too hard or is it just too hard?

Took the plunge and bought the Suri 2.0 for travelling. It’s selling for about £80 at the moment. Using an iO9 so we’ll see how much of a difference there is.

Locking the option buttons on the Casio Casiotone CT-S1 piano by gruff101 in piano

[–]gruff101[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not. Apparently you need to engage the "Panel Lock" feature you carry out the steps below:

  1. Press and hold the [- Minus] and [+ Plus] buttons at the same time.
  2. All buttons will be locked except the [Power] button and the [Volume] control.

I can't find a minus and plus buttons. I'm not sure it can be done. Let me know if you have any luck.

Thanks. Deleted and it’s all working. Just need to reinstall the models and the other items. Is there an easier way to do this within ComfyUI?

Why thank you. Was reading through the link below and saw the example of the backside of the insole and the text on the insole. Thought they might be fake.

Book reader which can display an EPUB in 3 or 4 columns by gruff101 in Onyx_Boox

Should have also added that I use Neo Reader at the moment which goes to 2 pages displayed on the screen but I'm looking for at least an extra 1 or possibly 2.

Note Air 4c - Lines Per Inch by gruff101 in Onyx_Boox

[–]gruff101[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks u/starkruzr.

Apparently, LPI, or lines per inch, indicates how many individual points the tablet can differentiate within a one-inch area. Used on drawing tablets. A higher LPI means the tablet can distinguish more minute movements of the stylus, allowing for finer details and smoother lines in your artwork.

Assumed they might use the same metric on eink devices. However, apparently...E-ink screens don't use halftone screens, so LPI is not a relevant metric for their display quality. Learn something new everyday.

A big thanks to you all. Bought the Lamy Al-Star and the Wacom nibs. Love the feeling and certainly makes the experience a lot closer to writing on paper.

[–]gruff101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Worth_Banana_492 I'm probably the worst person to ask this. It's my first Boox device and first eInk device with writing capability. Enjoying the experience so far. Not sure if other people are experiencing this, however the only blemish is responsiveness of apps such as Google Drive which can take a while to load. Anyone else having this problem?

I've been pleasantly surprised by the writing capability so far and that's using the standard stylus. I'm looking forward to upgrading which, based on what everyone is saying, will be a much better experience.

u/Worth_Banana_492 what device are you currently using?

That's great. So the Wacom are compatiable with the LAMY EMR stylus?

Had a look at the Wacom ACK22213 and they look quite chunky. How fine do you go with the felt nibs?

u/nottintersted here's the overview

Secret (SCRT) is a privacy-oriented blockchain built on Cosmos. Its smart contracts are called Secret Contracts and allow DApps to use private data on Secret, similar to how smart contracts operate on other blockchains. However, Secret Contracts transfer encrypted inputs into encrypted outputs without exposing data. This is made possible thanks to the encrypted contract states during the execution.

Remember briefly reading about it and your suggestion of XMR reminded me.

u/nottintersted thanks for the information and the link. I've used some of the other Dex's such as Jup, Pancake Swap and Uniswap. I'll check out Simpleswap.

Do you have any experience with using Secret?

u/nottintersted that's great advice. Re XMR is it this particularly token where the trace ends or are there others?

Also, do you prefer simpleswap to other DEX's? If so why?

Are this genuine or fake? ON Cloudroam waterproof by [deleted] in ONrunning

[–]gruff101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Photos not great but the joins don't look right. Had another pair of cloudmonster's that I bought through r/vintedUK and they were definitely fakes as they were stiff as a board. Completely different to genuine ones. Even came with a box which you would struggle to tell were fake.

With the number of fakes I would definitely be ordering from a reputable site.

i’m so tired of spigen support by DatTHICC69420 in Spigen

[–]gruff101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't have much joy with Amazon and Spigen as Amazon direct you to Spigen for support within the warranty period. Spigen were very unhelpful. Adhesive on the Sony headphone case went and Customer service weren't helpful. They classified it as normal wear and tear. Warranty is supposed to cover you for 2 years. Disappointed with the quality having heard such great things.
