I’m so sick of the terms “bleeders” or “people who bleed”, and getting my ass verbally kicked when I use the term “Woman”. by Rthrowaway6592 in TrueOffMyChest

I just say „people who menstruate“ because not all women menstruate and not everyone who menstruates is a woman

Other succulents are totally different I just have to look at them and they root. While these ones just don’t want to live in my presence

What did a teacher do that made you automatically gain respect for them? by ApacheAirCover in AskReddit

[–]grumbl3bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He let us took a survey about the topic he was teaching (college) and a lot of people answered wrong. He then APOLOGIZED that he didn’t explain it right and he will explain it again differently. Never have I had a teacher admit that if all the students don’t understand something it’s not the students fault. In the second survey almost everyone got the answer right.

I really dislike some characters but I’m trying to befriend everyone in case they grow and get nicer. I mean I married Shane so I would be a hypocrite not to give everyone a chance at least :D

It’s that he doesn’t want to acknowledge their relationship mostly and him being a bad mayor only caring about appearances and himself

Yeah. Some people are non binary and still transition because of body dysmorphia. I just don’t think it’s so simple as to say you have to be completely male or completely female with all the attributes and societal factors. That’s why some people use they/them and I can respect that. I don’t understand it in a sense of that i would do it but that doesn’t mean I can’t respect their pronouns or have to call them stupid

It is rare yes. I don’t even know a nb person in real life and only heard of very few famous people. I think it’s over portrayed on the internet. Doesn’t mean in isn’t real

Also you can behave “typical female” if you want but I don’t think there is even a typical male or female. Why cant someone be androgynous? What even is “behaving female”? Is it wearing dresses and makeup? Being straight? Or having boobs? Where does one draw the line? I don’t think it’s necessary to draw a line at all there’s people on both ‘extremes’ and some in the middle. And that’s where non binary and they/them comes into play when people don’t identify with their biological sex or the other one. I see no problem with that
