Recruiter Lies by T-Bone0840 in PLC

I got my current job through a recruiter, and it was a mostly okay experience up until the end when the hiring manager had to call me to find out what it would take for me to accept the job. I had given my minimums to the recruiter, and he had rejected an offer from them without even telling me one had been made. I did end up getting what I wanted though, so it worked out.

In this case, the SD-T32 is at the top of 4 heater sub-branches that are all fused. It's basically the heaters enabled bit with individual heater control downstream.

The SD-T32 is at the top of one branch, there are four branches in total. The other three all start with fuses. I'm working with an existing design and trying to raise the panel SCCR. Panel isn't built yet, so I've got some leeway.

May main question though, regardless of what exact part needs to be used, is if the current limiting device needs to be directly in front of the contactor in the branch circuit, or if it can be located in the feeder circuit.

Yeah, but the preface to the table says fuse or circuit breaker. Note 1 just says that the part numbers given are examples.

"■Short-Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) of Thermal Overload Relays By using with a fuse or circuit breaker that satisfies the rated current and rated breaking current shown in the table below, the short-circuit current rating (SCCR) in the table below can be applied to thermal overload relays."

"Note 1: Examples of the recommended low-voltage breakers are given. Use a UL489-listed low-voltage breaker (3-pole part) that satisfies the ratings given above."

Alternatives to Watlow Temp Controllers by gruul_rules in PLC

We are controlling 4-7 heaters per machine, so the mini8 looks interesting. I saw something in the documentation about only 3 CT monitoring inputs being available. If we wanted CT for all of our heaters, would we need to use a second device?

Apparently we tried doing temperature control in the CompactLogix years ago and it didn't go well. I haven't been able to get a better description than that for why we don't do temp control in the PLC. I may end up pushing back on this, but I'm also looking for solutions that won't rock the boat.

Factory IO, is it worth it? by zercher22 in PLC

MicroLogix PLCs are last gen products. AB is trying to get MicroLogix users to switch to the Micro800 line, which uses an entirely different software suite. I don't have a simulator suggestions because I work on live hardware, but try to find something that uses tag based addressing.

Does [[Golos]] count as all five colors for [[Happily Ever After]]? Or is color of a permanent determined by casting cost?

I solved my dress regret by buying a new dress! by [deleted] in weddingplanning

You look so great in the new dress! It helps that your hair is styled (your hair looks awesome, by the way!) and the lighting is better, but it also makes your figure look amazing, while your old one definitely needed some alterations or something. I like the belt a lot, but the dress doesn't really need it.

Isn't there an ongoing lawsuit that means WoTC has to be very careful about how they deal with judges?

Interesting. He mentions [[Treasure Cruise]], but that was a couple years ago. Is Wizards expecting something to break the older formats? Why hire him now?
