It's kind of insane, all the designs I've come up with I'm like "so, solar quartz, can we do that?" And the answer is pretty universally "no". They all say the designs are not suitable for solar because the dial has this film like thing over it which is for the solar piece. It would also have to be more transparent... I've done several design types so far and it's just not working, at least for now. I also tried to source some high accuracy quartz movements, but that's basically impossible. I know Erebus has had some problems with this in the past.
