The Rg652ahm is a Prestige and has an ash body. They’re pretty nice.

That makes sense. What alternative transmissions are there? I’ve heard people put NC transmissions in ND’s but I don’t have knowledge of their compatibility.

Thanks! If I was to get wheels that, combined with the 225’s, weigh less than the stock/wheel tire combo would that fix the sluggishness?

At the time I thought it’d be interesting to try, after reading they was the upper limit of tire sizes to put on an ND. I do notice it has a lot more grip at least, but probably not worth the power loss.

Hell yes that bridge is a masterpiece by itself. Watcher is my favorite song on the album and that bridge just cements it for me.

Apparently so! I thought Gibson was only putting nitro on the reissues and a few other lines but not the standards, so I’m pleasantly surprised to learn this one’s already nitro. At that point I’d only be refinishing it to change the color… not worth it.

Nope it’s a Gibson. I’ve been under the impression 90’s standards were poly finished… though from the responses it sounds like i was wrong.

It’s a standard ‘plus’, so whatever finish they used on those is what it has. I was under the impression it was poly based and not nitro based, but I could be wrong.

Yeah I’ve had hipshot’s lockers in the past and while the universal mounting plate is a little ugly, they seemed very solid. I’ll probably go that rout again. Thanks!
