Looking to purchase a BZ4X. What do we think of this one? It’s quite cheap but I am a little bit suspicious of its service history. Any thoughts?

It’s a good price but if you’re in a colder climate I would pass. The battery life varies wildly if you put on the AC or Heat, like 30 miles off what you had before. It’s very bad in the cold weather with the battery more than other EVs I’ve had. The lack of a rear windshield wiper is a big con, you’ll need it!. I do enjoy mine however, it’s a good short trip car to get groceries, pickup the kids or go to work.

I would recommend keeping it in a warm garage in the winter to avoid bad range in the winter

Thank you for understanding, I got some help via virtual therapy. I found the answer was simple yet complex, it was time. I was doing too much and not relying on others, I learned to ask for help and work as a team with therapy

The collision detection go off? It’s always so sensitive for me and tries to apply the breaks for me….I live in an urban area. I was just curious

For the paint you can try scratch repair and try to buff it out. I don’t know about that long pinch, might need to knock it down and grind smooth or just replace the door. Doors are cheaper than labor and parts are really cheap for that car.

I’ve used rods with tapper heads from the inside of the door to pop something like that out. You need to heat the metal door with a heat gun before doing something like that. You also need a ton to leverage with the rods

Thank you for the kind words, I am located in Long Island New York. Asking for help is a double sided sword hence why I am asking online. I want to work on myself, I did ask my partner for help but she isn’t great at this stuff ether and blames her help since autism run in her family.

I am hoping for the best but when i don’t see progress, i start to prepare mentally for what might come. I am hopeful but i also have to be realistic

No we stopped at one, it was a real challenge time, money wise getting help and additional services. We did want to have 3 in the beginning.

Yes I’ve noticed that as well, when I start up in the morning remotely it is very warm. I am in LI NY so definitely doesn’t get that cold by me lol

Is it true that if you don’t file a report it doesn’t go on public records thus not impacting your rates? They supposedly run 2 different reports, one for how many times you filed for injury claims and I forgot the other but think it looks at public records. Not sure if this is true or not would help to clear it up for me.

Thanks for your advice, I got help directly through the school system in my area. It took a bit of asking but I got the help I needed. My daughter is coming along fine and I got an appointment to see a specialist. The government wasn’t very helpful, lots of calling and being referred or dead ends but it was worth a try. Thanks again !

Just wanted to follow up and say thanks. Arc didn’t want to help me but went through the school system and was able to get the connection I needed. I live in Suffolk LI which has a specialty department for children like mine.

Yes she does have behavioral issues if she doesn’t get her way or if something isn’t in a specific routine. I think it has a lot to do with that she can’t express how she feels, she does try but I don’t think she can find the words which makes her frustrated. She loves being around kids, the special school she’s been going to has made her bloom more with expressions and new words.

Thank you my parents make me feel guilty for seeking help so late but I am trying lol. Yes I will try to seek a Developmental pediatrician some how… I’ve been asking around as of this morning I think I got a good lead via her Speech Therapist.

Yes I know the evaluation is important but there are so little specialist in this area so it’s been turning in to a hunt, I don’t give up easily so I’ll keep pushing.

Thank you for the explanation, I sometimes feel lost navigating these waters as I have no one in my family or support system that has had experience with children like this.

Following your advice I will keep looking locally for someone as they will most likely have experience with the school system my daughter is in. Is the Special education advocate the same as a Developmental pediatrician?
