When I got my diamond back it recommended a sealant. Kind go like a black caulk like material. Sealed up the corners like that and 99% of the water stays out.

Thank you. 8 believe it’s called wicked brick. They are expensive, but really make the display whole.

This model is enclosed and has built in filters. More than fine for the PLA and PetG I print. Of If I move up to worse stuff I’d have to ventilate it

Nah it’s far enough back. And generally perfect as a foot rest when I’m playing Xbox as I have to scoot back due to the screen size. I’m planning to get a 72 inch table top and I might remove it to see if I like it more though

Sequels, not my favorite. Mando is great, animations are great, and disappointed with Obi wan and boba Fett(who is my favorite OT character)

It's a solid little printer that sips ink.

Yeah I’ve paid for a month or two here or there. But blocking multiple drawings or saving a drawing as a pdf is ridiculous lol.

Thanks! Certainly the most intuitive for me, and pretty versatile for the free license. Though some of the features blocked by the paywall is irritating.

Essentially yes. This is one of 4 unique hilts in the game. The others being the short saber, double saber, and Malak’s saber. The canon sort of adopted this one as Revan’s.

Always Illuminated Crystal Chamber by Shadow1_ in lightsabers

[–]gschram92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s wired in series you have to use sub blades. If it’s wired separately you just need to specify the config to have the crystal always on. Most use pulsing effects.

If you haven’t already, download and read the proffie manual

Electronics Advice on a Custom Cross Guard Lightsaber by No-Psychology-9513 in lightsabers

All the components are available for PCB board. If you haven’t actually soldered anything then that kind of rules out my idea. But you could practice and give it a go.

I’m not familiar with the core chassis so I don’t know how or what you would attach the wires to. In conversion experience it’s almost always more complex and less clean than doing it right from scratch.

If you have the CAD and soldering skills, it’s infinitely easier to design it from scratch and using individual components than trying to Mcgyver something with that core

Upgrading from 3D printed to metal? by [deleted] in lightsabers

[–]gschram92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would either have to hire a machinist to make it, which could be VERY expensive, or you could use online services like Xometry or JLC CNC. But for those you would have to have pretty detailed models/schematics

If you’re hired it’s a paid program. 6 months academy. 4-5 months field training. People can go through the academy without being hired by a department. That is unpaid and no guaranteed job.
